Turn off 2 cores I think I heard Jon say that was Ok I too believe he said that.
Guess it's OK to run the 1100T if I have to.

Bones / 960T @ 4595MHz / OCZ Reapers / Sabertooth 990FX 2.0 / 253.14 The tower is doing it's job and doing it well. Doing these early in the morning is helping too.
There's my pal, showing off those clockers skills again. Good going Bones.

is it ok to run a 1090T in 4 core mode? I'll only be on ambient cooling anyway, so I probably won't make much of a dent in the leaderboard, Plus my only handy 4 core is the Phenom II X4 940 in my server which makes it not so handy. Yea, you can run it in 4 core mode. Np found it...

Thanks guys - The new fan in the tower is making a huge difference in how it handles a thermal load vs what was recently.
Go for it!

yes pete in the product details, i saw that, problem hes got is hes posted a pic of the cpu as a 1090T, ive messaged the bloke, ill see what he says How many times have you seen that before the pic only has to resemble what you are going to get the big Chinese and the German sellers always do it like that. ebay gave me his phone number, i spoke to the bloke for a good 1/2 hr, it was a 1090T, he thought it was a 955 and if i hadnt of questioned it he said he just wouldve packed it up and sent it, i spoke to him after i bought it and paid for it, then i said nup thats not fair, i gave him another 50$ thru paypal, the bloke is a race engine builder, hes about 70 now and slowing up, he used if for design stuff he said for his machinery. very interesting and knowledgeable, and a really nice guy , you know of chaz mostert pete, the V8 race driver, well hes known him and his dad since chaz was seven and did all his go cart stuff then into the formula fords etc b4 he went into the V8'S , he rattled off some big names in the V8 race car business he knows , hes got the machinery and they send him stuff to do for them, i couldve had it for the $50 no probs but i felt guilty and offered him more, so any other stuff hes got and wants to move on hes gunna message me first he said, so we'll see

Aleslammer/Qx9770/AxeRam/273.672/Chilled 8c Chiller working, took it outside and removed the side panel and blew some air through it, hooked it backup, worked , how long? Was in the 258s with this CPU in a Nvidia chipset DDR3 board testing some Quadro's in SLI, was expecting a little better.

At least you have it running. Maybe it will hang in long enough for you to get some nice runs done.
Speaking of which I need to recheck my setup. Tower is fine but all the rest could use another look.

Yes Jonnie. I had almost forgotten about it. I wanted to see if I had something to play with and when pulled out the old board the 965 was in it. Love that chip.
Edit: Just wanted to get my name up there with the boys for old times sake. Haven't benched in a very long time.

Out of sheer curiosity since I see a number of you mentioning it and running it... What benefits does running it in WinXP offer? Same kind of perks as for SuperPi?

I generally have a XP & W7 disk when grinding with WP on both and use both till I have a feel for the hardware as some platforms do a little better with one or the other. From my own subs XP is better for both 775 and AM3.

Must use NLited Xp. From what I gather its tiny Xp that is nlited thus having bare minimum processes running. And gives hella better scores.

Aleslammer/QX9770 @ 4786/Rampage Formula/Patriot DDR2 @ 580 4-5-5-15/261.862/Chilled 4c Went against my own advise and used W7 64, got a little better time between first and last core finishing.

W7 is not a bad operating system to bench with. If the other guy has XP, but not ultra stripped down, you'll likely beat him So scores are updated. 4 days and some change remaining.

Without portable AC I don't wanna risk to damage nice x5460(3844A***)...but I found not bad e5410...still have to work with spi32m(too high ambient), gpupi, gpu freq and hwb x265 2.2...cpu freq will be hard...pcmarks have to skip(hdd and 8600gt)...rest benches with points(w/o geekbench4) we have gold Best regards

I might not get to benching my AMD on time. Work and family are busy and I need to make a top-plate for my water block to fit AMD. Don't think I'll get that done before Thursday

I won't be doing anything else myself, with the 4th being here there is alot going on and this evening my zeroturn mower started smoking like it was on fire. Blowing oil from the valve cover and I believe a dirt dobber may have plugged up the crankcase breather hole. Check that, check the valves for adjustment and change the oil - It was due anyway. Have to deal with both things, the mower probrably being the easier of the two.

Yea Bones, you got your hands full. Completely understand. 4th doesn't make it easier either. This is my final submission. ShrimpBrime / PHII B97 x4 / Corsair / MSI GD70 / Geothermal Liquid / 271.629Killed the board. It does nothing. No lights, no beeps, not a darn thing. And I didn't even play that hard on it. Pity.

You really snuffed that one - At least mine threw the FF code when it checked out. It was an MSI so I'm not that suprised.
Putting off the mower until Friday, that will be the first real chance I'll have to mess with it.

Well the sempron worked until it went into that board... Not terribly worried, but I have that kind of good luck when something breaks lol.

I have bad luck with that sort of thing too. Lost quite a few processors when the boards would give up the ghost. So I just stick with top of the line high end boards whenever possible. It's actually worked out much cheaper for me in the long run.
