No Ghz cap. Chilling is fine. Prize = CX500M power supply. only for those running restricted HW. Anything bigger than the restrictions are for fun subs only. This way every one can bench. So that means I expect to see 99% of our team submit even if it's not for a prize.  Our next comp I've already got a neat idea for. But in another thread or later on I'll mention my idea and take on suggestions. |

Uh oh, I have hardware that easily falls into those categories.... Temptation knocks on the door with a copper heatsink, doesn't it.
(terrible attempt to allude to the fact my EP45T-Extreme really needs a good break-in run since its still in the same box from when I bought it... Well, same case anyways)

I know I'm good on the AMD side of things (X4 955 BE, and I have two of them - sadly I think they're my only quad core AMD CPUs...), but I'll have to see what quads I have. One is a low tier Extreme (6800 maybe?), and I think I might have... Oh, it's a Q9300 as well, nice. |

AMD are pretty competetive in wprime with Core 2 it will be interesting.
Probably QX9650 /EP45T-UD3R here.

I currently have a C2D with an old shitty Asrock board and 1 single stick of DDR2 RAM. I just noticed the "~Quads Only" thought am confused to the note of "Core 2 Quad or lesser"?
I have multiple feelers out on my local buy'n'sell waiting for responses.

Ah yes the Asrock types ... have agp ones. I don't know Vin what's here. 5x or more highends & plenty of OK ones. Lots of Ram also. I'm blessed that way with so much. Sad it never gets used.  Did have a heap of fun years ago, messing around with core2 duo & 3D01se. They were fun processors, clocked up crazy |

Vin vinnie bolc on bot has some ddr2 for sale, ballistix and tracers, D9's too i would say, dunno if they been thrashed but they do 600+, theres a sale pending but hes gunna look at what else hes got for another guy too, maybe a pm to him you might come up with something good for you |

Apprentice is such a terrible name. ...I miss being in Extreme League on the 'bot, but at the same time, kind of wish I had stayed in enthusiast, but oh well. Going subzero is fun, I won't lie.
