I'm going for the frozen beer method. I just haven't figured out how to stop it from bursting when it starts heating up. I've been through a 6 pack already!! No good luck with this cooling type I'm afraid!

My phone takes excellent quality photos and video Vin. My problem is keeping the beer off the lens when the can explodes

ShrimpBrime, reason I removed the unopened comment from the in house discussion, got to get through that SP32 faster . Actually finding a can with a flat bottom for good contact with the CPU probably a bigger challenge now a days.

My thought was to turn the can sideways.

Just a little information. Pifast: Looking through bot scores faster tighter better score. No large difference between OS,s SuperPi: Windows 7!!!! Windows 10 is strange and going to lump them into two categories 7minute & 10m runs based on bot scores. After spending a little time looking at screen shots didn't notice great difference between freq & primary timings. Even spending some time with the memory settings beyond your primary's isn't going to net minute plus gains in my own experience, so got to have something else at work here. Being that most of my own SuperPi 32 are in the 7m category, here is what I did. 1, once making BIOS everything I don't need is turned off, this includes all power saving features and temp related functions. 2, load OS, with no updates 3, load chipset drivers, been using AMD's site as it includes a windows performance plan, read below. asapguide.com/ryzen-balanced/ link is for balanced but the performance is included. 4, 2D benching so no video drivers so what ever comes in windows is fine by me. 5, load Benchmate full version, basically get all the supported benches, BM also comes with some of the basic tweaks for Pifast and SuperPi and others built in. 6, start playing W7 looks good in WP32 but not as noticeable in WP1024

I'll be stuck on W10 most likely. Both systems will be ambient cooled, one of them passive. This hardware is in use, not ready for the bench unfortunately. But will be seeing scores from me either way. Neither chip scales well on the cold water any ways.

Probrably like it was with the one I did last year, we'll have a few suprises get in on this. I won't be playing since I don't have the means for a competitive setup with AM4 so you guys have fun with this.

You can't be competitive against that? lol.

Considering the only cooling I've got for AM4 is being used by the daily, as in what I'm using to type this - Yes, I can't compete. Maybe later I can but for now I'm sitting this one out because of it.

Even such a low watt chip. Well maybe next time Bones.

So how do I use this benchmate deal?
Can someone kindly give me an example screen shot? Do I hit F6 or F8 or both, and how do I upload that to here? (I have no clue if it saved a screen shot or if I have to make my own screen shot....
Sorry, I'm a benchmate newbi...

Just in case I'm not delivering my question properly.... I hit F6, the pop up varification thing goes into the right lower corner and I cannot move it. This action covers my Cpu-Z SPD tab and I have to open a 5th cpu-z for the screen shot. Cannot move that pop up thing?? I'm so confused.... Also, I've never seen these low of numbers with this set up. Asus ROG B450-I 2700X SMT on or off no difference. Vengence 3000 at 2933 CL 15-17-17 to CL 16-16-16 doesn't make a difference. Without benchmate running 10.1s PiMod 1m, can probably get under 10s. With Benchmate 10.25s and can't seem to lower this even with minor tweaking. Gah, where's my W7 drive? Oh, it's in a raid partition now

Cannot move the BM window. Just screenshot the desktop then. That's what you sub. As far as I know, the result file submission does not work with HWB yet. When/if it does, go to the BM folder on your drive and the HWB file will be in that.

Make your subs with BM in the regular categorys, at least you will get points then. Don't worry, the regular and BM cats will be merged soon anyway.

Nah. Just treat it as any other requirement for HWB. It will only be for 7 on up anyway.

I'll try to get accustomed to Benchmate. Trying to put a finger on something I like about the program first.
Like I wish Cpuz and gpuz where built in and auto update, that would be cool.

Installing benchmate on 1000 series machine. I see cpu-z and Gpu-z DL is included. Nice.
OK will have submissions up by the end of my central ca/us evening. Wish me luck! I'm going to need it!

Well, assuming Benchmate doesn't drive me nuts, that is.
