Lots of bios flashing tonight and ram tuning. Bios 1002 seems to be the one for my hardware. Playing around in the bios with ram timings tonight. I've been gaming with these settings to test stability. No PBO, just stock auto settings on the chip. I've only been messing with the ram.

Had to create a way to mount a block onto my AM4 today but got it done. No real $$ to spare for it and all the blocks I've seen so far just don't look "Good" for what I do.
All of them (To me) look to have a thin bottom instead of something with mass like older blocks have to help keep temps spikes in check.

Those older high quality blocks are nearly impossible to get nowadays Rods. I know what you mean too.

It's too pretty to put on my rig. Looks more like jewelry. I'd wear it around my neck instead. ROFLMAO

Yep, silver is a much better heat conductor than copper I agree. Not sure if around the neck is good for cooling your cpu though. lol.

All joking aside that is one beautiful cpu block Jon. If I could afford to get that one I most certainly would. Just beautiful.

I've always wanted a block made of silver just to see if it really is THAT much better. I'm thinking it is. Also it will literally be worth it's weight in Silver when going to resell it. Has potential to actually make a profit if looking at it from that angle.

Shipping cost of that block is $55.00. Total to me would be $300.79. Way outside the budget I have allotted for a new cpu block. Would have been interesting to see what it could do for sure. I have to say it again, that is one beautiful piece of hardware.

You ain't wrong. ROFLMAO I ordered the XSPC PRO RGB Block. Those seem to be going out of stock very quickly as well. All the blocks I like or want are always out of stock and this one is now out of stock at the egg where I was able to get it cheaper. I got the last one it seems. I like the all copper block and from what I could see of the mounting mechanism it's better than what I have now. I think I'm going to like this much better. (Well, maybe not the last one, I just looked and they show FrozenCPU having it. But I don't do business with them anymore.)

I was given a brand new in box monitor. It's an Acer Predator Z1 Z301C. This thing is huge! I just downloaded GTA V and this setup is eating it up. Shadow Of The Tomb Raider is such a pleasure to play. Playing at 2560x1080 144Hz. the monitor overclocks to 200Hz. EVGA GTX 1070 FTW2 in SLI and this monitor. Edit: How I got the monitor is that I bartered services for it. www.pcmag.com/feature/349924/acer-predator-z1-z301c

Plumbing repairs and electrical work. Plumber wanted $600.00 to remove a piece of drywall to see where a leak was coming from...……….just to remove the drywall mind you. I did it all for her for the monitor. More than a fair trade I think. I love this monitor.

The monitor had been sitting brand new never opened in it's retail box on her garage floor for a year or so. It's in good hands now.

Tested multiple times on different platforms against some of the best EKWB blocks. XSPC are much better.
Excellent design. Excellent waterflow. No obstruction at all. Can easily cope with my 1500 liters / per hour EKWB twin water-cooling D5 pumps and 7/8" tubes.
You will be very satisfied

I'm still using my old Thermaltake BigWater 735 block. Modified, I removed the acrylic top and made a steel plated top with the barbs brazed to it. I also cut the 4 ears sticking off, which I could have left on for more surface area, but I thought square would be easier to fabricate the top plate. Have a copper plate that, someday, will modify and replace the steel top. Just haven't gotten around to it. The block you see in my avatar is what this used to be. Additional comment: I also made my LN2 pot from another identical to this one. Worked better for DICE, but used it lots with LN2 The O-Ring hole is perfect for 2" copper or brass hand rail. Was super easy DICE pot mod. Ahh, here's the pic.
