Just wanted to share this video of them making custom waterblocks and stuff with cnc machine. What do you guys think? Anybody have experience making your own waterblocks, distro plates and such? Other channels that do similar stuff to this I know of are Radikult and bit-tech. Edit: Sorry for posting in wrong section before.

Here's a video showing the cnc machining process how Radikult does his custom waterblocks. He anodised it as well which is not shown:

I've never though of doing my own. if you have access to a mill then it makes more sense. But to pay someone to make one isn't $$$ viable.

I can only get the normal general purpose cooler water blocks custom made(dimensions and where screw holes go) for use as backplate at cheap price. There is a radiator shop I know with access to CNC machine that do their own waterblocks that costs 6000 inr for an rx 480 water block which is reasonable but you can't tell them to make the design you want.

I was actually thinking of getting a cheap desktop CNC machine to learn some wood and acrylic carving, but I think the sound may be too horrible for home use or any room outside home. Edit: I can get the following one where I live but it was noisy even for acrylic from what I saw on youtube.

That's a tool for a garage. Don't think of a CNC as a milling tool. think of it a reverse engineering Wood/plastic/metal chip manufacturing device for ease or recycling.

Do you think we could make a full case for WaterCooling for ps3 or ps4 with aluminium extrusions and their various fittings? Acrylic sheet for covering and extrusions for skeleton. Oh and I decided to make a DIY CNC machine with a 1.5kW spindle this year. I'll update that too once I'm able to do pc related stuff with it. Waterblocks, pc case stuff etc.
