I could partake in this one. Won't be pushed too hard as it's on my Daily. I might need help with SMT and other Overclocking tricks on this platform.

Probably run my 2700X for this one and won't be pushing hard on it either. Do you think I should restrict the thread count and/or core frequency Vin, or is it ok like this?

it's ok like this. We're all friends right.. lol I'd be using my AMD 1700x... So I'd be going against your 2700x's added efficiency anyway. PiFast and SuperPi are single threaded anyway right... So even at the same clock I'd expect yours to score higher... it's AM4, leave it at that. If you're worried then scale the Multi-treaded wprime score by the # of cores. (Stolen idea from OCN's usual comps) Does that make sense? I'm low on the benching pole, so I'm good with anything you want to run Jon... it's just for fun anyway. Vin

Looks good fun to me ! Spi 1M isn't any easy thing to made faster after a level with Zen2. Looks like it will need some new experiments and testings to became more familiar with those benchmarks in this platform ! Not a secret it's something that I really like to do !

I just got back. I'm gonna check into this now. I think maybe something in my security suite might be stopping it.
Edit: CPUz just won't run on my system. Ran it as admin. Tried compatibility modes. Nuthin. Just says cpuz can't run on windows. Installed cpuz 1.44. Mine was a real old download so I thought maybe it was corrupt. So I redownloaded it and it's the same problem. Ran Wprime as admin again and it's the same issue over and over. I gave up on it.

Here is my first bunch of results ! Spi1M : 08.790 Pifast : 16.700 Wpr32 : 2.605 hwbot.org/submission/4515430_hwbot.org/submission/4515431_hwbot.org/submission/4515432_All those were made on my 24/7 rig in my 24/7 os, only the lucky wallpaper was equipped. Mem was a bit tightened ofc, just to made it a bit more direct. (lol, just seen I've forgot to raise mem and fclk freq before wpr32 run.. ) Spi1M and Pifast with Boost, wprime with fixed set. Water cooled, temperated to my room-air at hot mid-summer.

Anything really. You have nothing to loose here. Whatever you want Eddie, it's cool with all of us for sure. no worries.

Seems a bit slow to me. But I had to take what I could get. I had a hell of a time trying to get Wprime to run. I think I might need a fresh install of my OS. I have to clean this rig up soon and then I'll do that. I have to bring 2700X rig number 2 out of it's slumber and update it first. It's been offline for months.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I have several of those to play with. They were fun. I would need something more than 3700X though. As that would not be much of an upgrade for me. 3800X or better I'd say. And an RTX 2070 Super would suit me just fine.

I think a 3900X would suit you really nicely, though may not clock as high, would have mad threads!! Probably look for a 3600X for the HTPC maybe next year. The 2700X games really well, it's just a little on the warm side. I love the thread count though, maybe a 3700X or 3800X after Zen3 releases would be a time to bite on that maybe.

And do you mess with VTTDDR at all? Also, is it daily stable or bench stable? Thank you in advance.
