Yeah, I know what you mean. I have several of those to play with. They were fun. I would need something more than 3700X though. As that would not be much of an upgrade for me. 3800X or better I'd say. And an RTX 2070 Super would suit me just fine. I think a 3900X would suit you really nicely, though may not clock as high, would have mad threads!! Probably look for a 3600X for the HTPC maybe next year. The 2700X games really well, it's just a little on the warm side. I love the thread count though, maybe a 3700X or 3800X after Zen3 releases would be a time to bite on that maybe. A 3900X would be sweet. I'm already planning my next upgrade. I shouldn't but I am. I love the Crosshair VII Hero so that is where it will go.

George Kokovinis ( Fasttrack ) Ryzen 3950X / 4.4ghz for Wprime and 4.5ghz for PiFast and SPI 1m ( Only Hyperthreading disabled - no core reduction - bored ) Asus Crosshair VII Mems running 4400 tight / 14-14-14-28-2T ( they can easily do 4933 / 14-13 but not on Crosshair VII ) Pifast 17.02 Wprime 1.637 SPI 1m 09.017 Windows 7 Can I ask what kind of voltage you need on DRAM at 4400 tight 2T? And do you mess with VTTDDR at all? Also, is it daily stable or bench stable? Thank you in advance. Hello and welcome, 1.65V without messing with VTTDDR. Certainly benchstable for hours, but maxmem has to be set at 4000mb. Since 1.65V is quite a bit for mems running 24/7 and maxmem is only 4000mb, I would not consider that daily stable.

Vinster - AMD 1700x @ 3.7Ghz, - Gkill 14-14-14-28 @ 3200Mhs, ROG Crosshair6
PiFast = 22.7 SuperPi = 11.795 WPrime32 = 11.532
I cannot for the life of me break 11sec in wprime... (Priority is realtime, set cores to 16 in advanced) and where did you guys get the pifast with the launcher? HWBot side is still distributing the old version...

Was going to use a 3900XT that I picked up for a build for my brother but the damn thing won't be here till Monday/Tuesday according to tracking. Ordered it last Saturday normally 3 or 4 days from the LA area Newegg, mail just not happy lately.

Yea the OS is giving you trouble for sure. Not a bad idea for a fresh install. I didnt know you have 2 2700x rigs! Nice! I have another 2700X on the X370 Prime Pro board Jon. But I want a newer X470 board for it. Prices are just too high right now. And I have a Ryzen 5 1600 and another Ryzen 5 1600 AF variant. I need more motherboards and ram and graphics cards. When prices drop I'll jump on something.

OS install is quite old too. Not a benching setup by any stretch of the imagination. Games are weighing it down. Mine too. I can't even get on it cause it's always in use. At least the 2700X is being put to good use. Even delidded on the stock air cooler shoved in a cabinet, it does really good. But for benching, maybe not so much. I dont' have fast memory installed, but it's ok cause I need it stable 110% for the family. So eventually, I'll get my last bench in (hoping tomorrow) and submit here
