True story, my neighbor tried a Viagra for the very first time in his life. He had a hard on for over 8 hours. He couldn't take it anymore he was in so much pain. His wife wouldn't get off of it. She rode and rode and rode...............and rode. ROFLMAO. Finally begged her to take him to the emergency room. She taped it to his leg with a cotton sock as an insulator. ROFLMAO. The poor guy was in agony. Why you should never take meds like that without a doctors approval and be very careful of what you wish for. The darned thing changed colors and he thought he was gonna lose it. Edit: this was many years ago. He never did that again. I've tried it before.. I've never had an issue.. I took half a pill.. OWG... wify loved it and couldn't get enough... and for me it just wouldn't go away... lasted about 5 hours.. I was starting to get worried.. but it cleared up
Can you imagine the fear? I can’t even imagine life without my Willy. We are good friends. I could not imagine having a Wanda.. Omg. What a travesty that would be. same... I don't know what I would do without it.

Lol My wife has the double variety, I probably enjoy them more than she does.. I only say this because she has no interest in overclocking, so no chance of her seeing that

We are gradually returning to office, maximum 30% staffing at the moment, rest of us working from home. Apparently this will go on 'til year end at least. Now that restrictions in public are eased a bit, more people have become ill again, ICU in risk of becoming congested.
And now it is about ppl that for one or another reason refused or neglected to take the vaccine while offered.
3rd dose of vaccinations are about to commence. In many office work lines, new ways of combining WFH and office is being introduced, in one part by changing the way the office space is used/utilized, something like hybrid work office. Went to office today for the 1st time in a very long time, to do a clean up & toss some of my stuff in preparation for the future office furnishing.

Nice, going back to normal is good. but I still think it won't be back to full regular until at least 2024. The customer I work for are at I believe 50% back in the office. Must be fully vaxed, masking, cafeteria is pickup only...
My office is 100% open. there is flexibility to work from home 2-3 days a week if you chose...

I was home for 10 months and it was fantastic. I have never had a vacation other than being between jobs.. I just took the cash.. this was much needed. I had no problem finding a job close to home as well which is awesome. They asked for consent to a criminal record check.. I am no saint so they saw what they saw and still gave me a chance. Things are going well at work. Everyone there is smarter than me, which is ok because now I can continue learning. It would be nice to go from operator to setup operator. I know how to use their new machines because of the control they use, the older ones I have questions with. By old I mean from the 80s and 90s lol. They are awesome though that's why they are still here. I have been running a Mori Seiki SL-35 with serial# 0073 on the tail stock.. she is fucking ancient. Good lathe, really good. I am used to HAAS SL-20, 30, TL-30, VF-2 VF-4. We have a couple of old SL-30's at this shop, and a couple of new VF3-SS that are fast as fuck. Then there is a bunch of big OKK's and some others I haven't really seen yet. I get a big DOOSAN HP5500 to use and holy fuck is that thing complicated. Hurts my brain. Not what I am used to. I actually have to write shit down. Its the small one out of the big machines, its in the foundry area so its hot as fuck too.
Anyways.. long story short its good to get out again.. lol. That was like a 20 minute ramble. I think..

I'm familiar old Mori's (not as old as yours, but 90's ones), in a past work like I upgraded the safety systems on those (actually created cause some didn't have any) Design/Install E-Stop and Guarding circuits/systems for them, they're used a lot in the aviation industry for milling the legs for parts.
We didn't call them milling machines, we called them metal chip makers, or material recycling readiness device "MRRD's".. lol

Restrictions in the public has for the most part been lifted since beginning of this month, but remote working is still recommended if possible. The omicron variant spread like wildfire, but not causing so many deaths as earlier, mainly due to majority had a couple of vaccine doses taken. For me, the WFH still valid until further notice. There are still recommendations to wear a mask in shops, keep distance etc. but can see that some
act like they do not care, just running around like cows running on their 1st spring grass.

Went to the office the other day to return my old & pick up my new work laptop. As well as to see some of my colleagues not seen at the office at the same time. Full day there to check on old and new routines after this long time remote working, it was refreshing. But to get used to new ways of working in a so called open office area is still something that will need practice. E.g will need to pack/unpack/pack & keep own stuff for every day. This was of course a normal procedure when I was working at customer premises, but that would last some days-4 weeks until the task was done.
