Was looking at something like this the other day. www.ebay.com/itm/Large-Water-Cooling-Peltier-Kit-4x-TEC1-12715-2-Pumps-80-80-blocks-tubing/383092347864?hash=item59321553d8:g:nWwAAOSwYYZdSvjnMore than that. The QMax is 126w. 15 amp each. 60 amp current pull probably cool a loop with modern cpu under 125w. But I think I have a different approach to utilize what I have and try to lower the 8c geothermal delta. I have 2 water blocks. But one should go on the Gpu. So I'm going to be stuck trying to configure something up for each bench when they differ 2D to 3D, but it's cool. I've been having fun lately. Been working on memory here. Got another kit to plug in yet. In short, I'm nowhere near ready lol. But have a running system. Will be there either way ;D

Looking good!
If I'm able to play I might have to bring this one to the table just to see what I can get it to do.
It all depends during that time if I'm able to get what I need with all the crap going on around here.

Jesus, 3.6/3.8ghz!! Holy shit. You guys are about 1000mhz past my best chip. lol.
Oh man. Please 4800+ save my ass..... (doubt it.)

Don't forget that 939 is single core only, a 4800+ is a dual cored chip.

That was posted before I made the change for the comp and I missed that when I changed the requirements. Thanks for pointing that out and ShrimpBrime I need the thread unlocked so I can edit that. All single core chips are fine regardless of cache size for Socket 939.

I thought 512k was for 754 and 939 was single core CPUs

Thanks Mac, edit done.
Yes, that's correct - 754 has the cache limitation, 939 is single core chip only.

Nice! One golden venus is been in my country but man didn't want to sell me and trash to garbage that golden CPU. For all S939 key is to find cip without low cold bug. all my SD have CB around -5 -10 only FX can work 300fsb at -55 maybe try on Ln2 next weeks

That is an exceptional processor. I have a couple no CB Venus's that will go 3.5 on the chiller but the coldest I can get to is about -30.

I don't know if I'll be able to do it because of where I have to get the DICE and things are getting really tight around here due ot the virus. I mean it can still go but not as shown in the screenie without it. I'm not sure exactly how high it can go and actually run a bench, that was a test of how high I could make it go and attempt a validation which it failed to do.

The local store stopped selling Dice a few years ago. Air gas lobby is closed. Ill be on liquid only for sure.

Hello Just wanted to ask if negative summary results are valid ? Thank you.

Post by Bones on Mar 29, 2020 17:26:56 GMT -5
?? I'm brain-farting (VERY tired ATM) so I'm drawing a massive blank here. I'll go ahead and say if it's something that's not the norm for a valid result at the bot I'd have to say "No" already. You can refer to the bot's rules for any given bench for what's described as an acceptable sub.

|
Post by Mr.Scott on Mar 29, 2020 18:02:58 GMT -5
I think he is asking if his 'penaltys' exceed his scores, is that a valid result summary?
|
|
|
Post by Bones on Mar 29, 2020 18:30:23 GMT -5
Yes it would be "Valid" as long as the entries themselves are good. I'm not going to toss entries just because they happen to score low, this is a comp for fun and that's how I want it to be - It's all good.

Are we making acceptations to those non team players waiving the HWBot submission?
|
|
|
Post by Bones on Mar 29, 2020 18:43:34 GMT -5
I've been thinking about the potential problems with some subs not beating older ones at first, possibly causing an issue at the bot. OK - I'm dropping the requirement to do a sub at the bot. This way no one gets burned there and those that really don't want an HWbot account won't have to worry over it.
We can do it all here and be done with it.

Totally up to you Rodney, just trying to cover any possible questions even if they dumb. Is this submission acceptable?

It's fine Shrimpy, both in missing my post and the sub. The sub will still require the background to be used for the comp of course but as it aside from that it's good. You don't need to have the SPD tab, just the CPU, RAM and board tabs.

they should have run the first round of cheapaz chip for one month only. I ve been battling mid field with the HD 5770 lately. Even though
I'm sitting in 2nd in the 3000G stage I'll surely have to revisit it before the end.
In the meantime it will be the favourites s462, s939 and to a lesser extent s754 (why did AMD release a single channel series anyway?)
