I'll have to see about Division 2. Got a few things I definitely need to take care of... ...And my war games terrain thoughts and desires have increased exponentially (I'll just say I want to build three gaming tables now )

I bought it, I read there was a big update and it had fixes for the issues I had and they were right. game loads in full screen, no bullshit to load the game and it just works.
there is the odd shudder every now and then with the graphics, I'll go from 100fps to 40, then back to 100... running the game at 1440p on high settings with my 1700x/16GB Ram/1080Ti

I bought the game as well, namely because I was missing it, and I've enjoyed playing it. Being on sale didn't hurt either...
I think mine is set to running at high or very high, it's pretty, and it's fun. ^_^;;;
And I love my sniper rifle!

I just upgraded (but I think it's a Model 800 with 4.2K Damage). I've been fortunate that I was able to find a lot of weapons (and sell) and just Friday night bought my first in game weapon from a vendor. I'm a Level 15 and just joined a clan (random via search) and the vendor in the Clan area in the White House is amazing. I was able to upgrade my Sniper Rifle, Shotgun and Hand gun. All far superior to what I had in my inventory.
you can look me up, I'm Vinster411 on uplay.

I go through them somewhat often, it feels. *laughs nervously* At first it was a Dragunov, then for a while it was a model 700 I think? (looks like most Accuracy International rifles) Now it's... Some bolt action rifle that takes forever to load because you have to hand feed all five rounds of ammunition into it.... Main rifle is almost always a Police M4, because man those have some delightful stability and accuracy. Plus you can give them extended magazines too ^_^

Here is what I'm running now.
I've been running multiple flavors of the M700 and I believe an M800. the M44 Hunting I've been running a few hours.
the new M700 and M870 Tactical are the new guns I just bought. hoping to run a little damage with them before bed

This is how things are for me at the moment. I swap between weapons depending on what I'm up to. Running the Mk16 right now because, well, it was better than my Police M4 I had at the time. Reason for the M249? Sometimes it's nice to be able to put down some suppression fire - that and depending on the firefight I'll dance between the Mk16 and M249. Looks like I don't get anywhere near as close-range as you do though. That's just a few shotguns!

I like shotguns , when I took the photo I hadn't unloaded the previous days loot at a vendor. though the shotgun is my go-to when anyone gets close then my 3rd layer is the shield and pistol. I went in to a new area and found am M44 Tactical that puts out I think 6.1K of 6.3K damage. 1 shot headshot kills. love that... really digging the drone and I learned last night that the filament needed for crafting on equipment can be had when you deconstruct a level 15 vest. So now that I'm rolling in $$ I'll likely deconstruct everything I ever find from now on. Vin

Filament through deconstruction? Ouch, that's got to be something that isn't easy to get then, since I tend to deconstruct a... few... items.... ^_^;;;;
After using my pistol (which is a sawed off shotgun atm), I might have to give shotguns another chance, because they are kind of handy. I just don't like the gap in the mid-range that a sniper rifle / shotgun combination has...
As for that drone... Oh gawds, I love the drone, especially when paired with seeking hamster ball explosive (forgot the name of it) or the assault turret... Although I've found the turrets to be moderately more useful if it's a room with a tight fight, or one of those really annoying ones where there's three levels of snipers AND multiple grenade launchers to contend with... Loooove how soooo many of them get distracted by the drone too, which is good and bad (good because they stop shooting you for a moment, bad because your drone is rather, uhm.... Vulnerable to bullets).

ya, I haven't deconstructed too many items, I just really started doing it yesterday and I got some filament and was able to upgrade my shield. Deconstructing gloves, vest, backpacks gets you some special material that is also required for other crafts that I couldn't get anywhere.
I don't have the hamster ball. I've been focusing on side missions so the points have been slow to get. I haven't thought about modding weapons, didn't think you could.. hmm....

I generally leave enough cash (e-credits) in my wallet in order to buy recipies, but most of my gear gets crushed. Just wish titanium wasn't so difficult to find, because one of my settlement upgrades requires that... As does making soooo many mods >.< Weapon mods help out... I'd say in a noticeable way. Especially that extended magazine - I have a bad habit of putting an extra bullet or three into people. I'll playfully say I do it to "ensure they're dead" but it's really more a case of I wind up pumping more rounds into them than I need to >.>;;;; Explosive hamster ball of doom is fun, but I've mainly switched over to the assault turret as my second option, because I've been in a few too many "survive for x minutes" situations now, and it's reaaaaally handy to have a turret just sit there, guard one door, and harass the living daylights out of the two dozen Outcasts (or Hyenas) that come at you every thirty seconds...

Thanks for the tip. I have the turret as well, but always opted for the shield as a primary defence... it was mainly for the female puffers... they have a lot of armor, but I've learned to either shoot them first or aim for the waste and let them bleed out when they start running at me.

Yeah, those puffers are rather... Annoying, doubly so if you somehow miss them, or forget about them. 15-20 rounds out of most rifles (or if yo uaim correctly, a single shot from a sniper) to the head and/or neck will drop them the same...
I might have to start going for the gut too, was wondering why on occasion I'd make some of them start bleeding.
I looooove shooting anyone that's about to throw out a grenade, doubly so someone that's throwing a molotov... Shoot them at the right time, and they drop said item right at their feet. So handy when there's three of them hiding behind an obstacle ^_^
My biggest issue is still those hyena elites though, doubly so the chain gun guys. Doesn't seem to be any particularly obvious weak spots on them.

Y'know, after a bit of time with a shotgun... I can see why you like them so much. They're rather handy when others get up close.... ^_^

ya, I like how they yell "throwing a grenade" gives you a good heads up.

My favourite line used to be a death quote (guy randomly says "owwwww" on his last breath), but I think my new favourite is from the Outcasts.... Shoot guy #1 in the head, guy next to him "hey, are you ok?"
I was half expecting guy #1 to make some smartass remark about how he just got shot in the head...
And yeah, gawds, that "throwing a grenade" and "crap, reloading" or "crap, out of ammo" are always fun, doubly so because I've noticed most won't notice if you throw a grenade at them right after they say theyre reloading... Well, until it's about to go off anyways...
Oh! My favourite thing the enemies say (I think it was True Sons).... "Fuuuuuuuuuck, does this guy ever run out of ammo??!?!!!"
Some of the enemies are clearly too Canadian though being so polite to say what they're about to do.
Oh, I also noticed that oddly enough, civilians... Aren't stupid enough to walk in front of your gun when you're shooting... Most of the time.

I haven't been playing much the past two days... We won't comment on the mess that is my desk atm (I'm working on getting my Ritterlich CAV army put together, and it's easier to keep in touch with everyone if I do it at my desk, instead of my painting area). In short, I can barely use my keyboard and mouse right now Something like 20 blister packs left to trim mold lines on, then superglue all together, but we're getting there, which is what counts. I'd be further, but kind of had to go get more superglue, because I ran out. ...And of course this doesn't include my three blisters of infantry (including one blister that hasn't been released yet!), but for now the infantry can sit on the sidelines ^_^

I'm at Level 25, 35hrs of play, well worth the $45 spent. after all the main missions there is still the 2 separate Dark Zones. then if you get the 1 year pass there are some locked area's that are available.

Vin Yeah, it's definitely been an enjoyable game, that's for sure. I also love how the story goes, but you also don't have to headrush right into it. Debating about the one year pass, but will probably get it.
