recently bought a proper psu for my daily, used. And it's behaving really weird. it looks like that: i've tested this psu on various motherboards and it always behaved the same way so i'm sure it's the psu that is the problem. the psu will only turn on, if i flip the main switch and right after doing that, about one second, press the power on button on the mobo. it's hard to do it and takes me about 2 to 10 tries to turn on my daily and it's a pain. other than that, i have done some overclocks on this psu etc. pc never hanged, all voltages are nice. sometimes the pc will turn on without pressing the power button, if i flip the psu's rocker switch in sort of half-way motion. curiously, when i short the green pin to ground and only give the psu a load in form of fans on a molex connector, nothing else connected, it turns on properly. Anybody had simmilar issues? don't want to throw it away because aside from this problem it's a pretty good psu.

Makes me think the rocker switch on that PSU is going or Is bad.
Do you have an old throw away PSU you can steal the switch from even if it's just for testing purposes?

Bad 5VSB on the PSU. It will only get worse. Plan on changing it out.

ok scotty i figured it out, with some load on and without, 5VSB measured on atx connector never goes under 5V.
