Been kind of following around about AMD Zen 2 chips and come across some interesting leaks! I'm excited to see some more stuff coming our way. Higher core counts, higher IPC, and of course not super expensive pricing if the leaks are true. Here's a little screen shot I pulled from some dudes video. I see 5ghz + Boost clocks listed here. Nice.

My initial thought? Ooooh, ThreadRipper levels of core counts, for half the price!
After that? I'm hopeful.... ^_^

I like the thread bump on the upper mid range. 24 threads. Can't seem to find a use for the 16 I have now besides folding...
3700X 320$ US. It's about what I paid for the 2700X. I'd spend the same $$ on that 3700X all day even if it wasn't faster at all lol.

Doesn't sound like a definite statement. They are going based off the fact there's no work on a 5 series thread-ripper chipset. Would be out of my price range any ways. lol

Can't watch due to at work but the title has me all "wait, why think about buying because of news or speculation"... Just buy if you're going to buy. ^_^
But I'm a passive index investor, I invest in the boring way ^_^;;;

I couldnt be bothered watching only leads to more speculation just wait till it gets here. BTW Everyone know Jim Keller is working at Intel now he's just about done the full circle.

Cards are only PCIe3 at the moment cant go faster than what the card will accept so its limited to hard drives and such for now. From what I have read it does sound impressive though.
