I know I've asked this before at CP & EOCF before; but what do YOU use to store your grafix cards? At some forums they dont even store cards because they get rid of em as fast as they get em but not here with you bunch hordes .
Right now my GPU storage is a wreck and is just flat out annoying. I can never find the one I'm looking for, takes me sometimes over a week. Thats just ridiculous. I literally have boxes and boxes of cards all over the place. This is just a few of em
I need a better, neater, easy access way to organize & store my cards. Plus wifey keeps talking about garage sale to clear up my mess...
I've had this exact thought and Scotty's response was "large totes that stack"
I have a few (5 actually) filing cabinets that are free in my office. I was thinking of getting 3/4" to 1" ply-wood that would fit on the bottom and with my tablesaw cut in slits that are 1/2" deep and have the cards slot in to them as they do in MB's. then they'd all be stored in a safe place and as they are designed. only issue with this method is finding them could be tricky. so labeling the cabinet door would be required.
that has been my thought, but I have not pursued anything as of yet. too many other things to deal with.
safe motherboard storage for when you don't have a box has also come in to question with me.

Funny thread because i'm actually in my father in law house talking with him about my needs for space. He will give me some space in a backyard room he have.
I live 135 miles away from him, in a three room apartment with wife and two children, and many of my hardware stuff is allocated in my brother's apartment (he lives alone). I took a picture of the room he have in the backyard, will need some cleaning up before moving things to here.
ShrimpBrime: Yeah, you guys are probably right. I'm gonna do that. For the time being I tried the Razor Viper 8K2. It's smooth and all that, but it's smaller. It lacks features. Mamba it is!!!

austin86: I like the old MS intellimouse. But it sounds like you need to find anther Razor mamba.

zila1: If you liked that mouse that much another type or brand may not suit you. If you can find another one, I would get it. Maybe two more if you can swing it and put one away.

ShrimpBrime: Any suggestions, or should I just get another of the same mouse? I did get a lot of years from it....

ShrimpBrime: I dislike my new mouse. Need suggestions. Was spoiled for a long time with a Razor mamba tournament edition. The mouse wheel has 4 buttons on it's own, I liked the side to side page scroll feature it had. The lazer wigz out occasionally.

antinomy: So if you lack of sex, VIA's here to help you

antinomy: Nano has twice performance for same clocks against the older C7. But compatibility is a bitch. Bench(f**n)mate won't run on it, W10 didn't run too (maybe there is some build that will), some benchmarks are finicky about VIAs.

antinomy: The architecture has changed a few times. C3 is like the stone age. Superseeded by C7. Don't remember about IPC but the bus changed from P6 arch (Pentium 2/3) to quad-pumped (Pentium 4/Core2). Then it has been replaced by Isaiah architecture (VIA Nano).

austin86: yeah the c3 was a slow chip, some of the zhaoxin CPUs use VIA architecture too.
