Just got of the phone with my pension plan and found out no hit for retiring at 62 so I'm out this year, just have to pay for medical insurance until 65.

Good for you, I'm about 30 years to go... I'm 38 now and have been working since I was 20.... Ya, I know... I'm doing it wrong.. Vin Doing what wrong? Your living the dream! Have employment for a long period of time is healthy. Right behind you. I'm 37 and don't even look forward to any type of real retirement ever. Probably work till the day I die. Currently investing in 2 - 401K plans at both of my jobs. One at each I should say. 30 year mortgage on a house I don't have yet. By the time I get into a house, I'll be looking at paying on it well past my retirement age unless the American dollar becomes worth a considerable amount more than it's worth now. I have SS tracking my work history all the way back to when I was 15 years old. I get a letter once a year saying SS may not be there for me when I retire. OK, I'd like out now, give me back all the money I paid in now and I could go buy a house with the generous down payment. Now I'm not good with politics. But I can say that I've got it rough (like most people do) but I fear my kids will have it rougher.
