Have a problem I don't understand with the last two CPUs I've used. The 1680 V2 would run x265 4K @ 4.9 but can't run CB15 & GB3 without dropping the multi to 42. The 1660 had no problem with 4K @ 5.3 but had to drop the multi to 48 to get through CB15 & GB3, could get the speed up to 4.95 with the Bclk in Windows but set a 49 multi and CB15 shuts the computer off when I'd start it. Tried replacing CB15 didn't help, guess maybe a new OS install. Generally CB15 runs just a little slower than CB11.5 in my experience and GB3 a little faster than 11.5.

that is strange it should only be 100-200 mhz less then 4k for CB15 i.e I ran 6400 on 4k but only 6300 on CB15 with my 7350k I have also seen where you can clock up to say 3990 with 39 multi and upping blck but as soon as you hit 40 multi it crashes I had this issue breaking 6ghz mark with 7350k it was fixed by upping a voltage cant remember which one not that it would be the same for x79

Tried the 125 strap on the last CPU I used, board will not post with what I've tried so far. Best Bclk sub for the board is in the 170s and a few around 150 so it should do it.

Got the 125 strap to work and no problem with GB3 & CB15 other than I don't have the voltages and RAM tuned.
