Picked up a Sabertooth X79 with a 3930K $320 shipped (been trying to have a better selection for Team Cup). As I was playing with the hardware noticed I lost quad channel RAM with a 43 multi on the the CPU, updated BIOS no help. Could keep the quad channel if I posted at 42 and ran it up in Windows but once it froze up or blue screened would post tri channel and would have to clear CMOS and start over. Don't have another matched set of 4x DDR3 so couldn't rule out RAM. Finally gave up and drank a beer or two thinking I had a crap MB. For a final test dropped an unlocked Xeon I had in and to my relief board is working perfectly, been awhile for that bad of a CPU.

I red a lot about 3930k and 2400mems...and You have two versions of cpu...which needs 1.3+ or <1.3v vcsa to get 2400. Mine needs 1.265v max (working good on 125strap)...going above that = bsod. Best Regards

Only when I was benching on 2/2 had to push vcsa to 1.32-1.325 (strap125...div 2333). I tried to bench on strap100, div2400...but probably my pscs doesn't like this strap. Best Regards
