i have a peculiar problem. win 10 @ idles 30% cpu usage. it took two hours to figure it out that svc host is the problem. ending all threads with svc host brings it back to 3-4% usage but within a minute or so back again. xtu & geekbench i use windows 10 and last couple of days had a tough time managing this problem. is there any permanent fix for this. sometimes after leaving it for 10-15 mins idle cpu usage comes to normal 3-4% usage.

SVC Hosts is usually used for windows updates and searching/syncing updates or Windows Defender also looking for updates. Win10 being an update hog, we're almost screwed in this department. I did find this yesterday as the updates rebooting my machine while I'm using it, is pissing me off... NOTE: I have not tried this yet; www.windowscentral.com/how-stop-updates-installing-automatically-windows-10but being part of the Local Policy, I can see this working. But I also can see new updates reverting these settings back. I'll be doing this sometime this weekend... I've had it, where I'm in a middle of a game and the PC tells me to go F*** myself, reboot and perform updates.... on boot, on shutdown.. I get... but in the middle of f**ing key strokes.... I need to get back to getting my Linux Steam OS going... and finally giving M$ the finger on my 24/7 rig... Vin

stopped windows defender but couldn't solve the issue.
surprisingly i have a solution. when i start cpu usage is 30% and once i kill all svc hosts..... it comes back again in few seconds but when i killed second time svc hosts it doesn't come back & i am using the os without any problem.
still don't know what is the problem but the os is usable.

The problem is that lately the windows updates are more aggressive and even disabling the services updates sooner or later depart. For now I'm blocking processes with process lasso.I should do a clean installation because if I do the updates they are not successful. In my mini pc that I use on the local network with kodi there is neither the space for updates...
