Welcome aboard MM always good to see new members. I would take those mods on but I am too far away (Australia) for it to be viable with the postage costs.

i thought of you straight away , postage for those cards will be 100 each way plus modding costs, just not viable , but at least he'd will get the cards back known working, with relevant everything showing what the start was to what is after the mod and knowing , yep all working, all good

If I don't get anyone else this month, I'll ship to you next month I have already spent my computer money for this month. I bought a 2nd GPU pot from KPC (Shipping was only $40) and I picked up 2 GTX580 video cards. The 1st was a EVGA Class Ultra with 2x8pin and a 6pin power. The 2nd was a MSI Lightning Extreme. I got both for less than $100 each not including shipping Here is a link to my HD-4870 Volt-Mod. It looks better than it works www.overclockers.com/forums/showthread.php/786751-Help-on-Trimpot-knowldge/page2

Everybody gets treated the same, from noob to expert.

If I lived in the US I wouldn't mind doing them for you, but I live in Canada so the shipping cost for a package that large would be a problem once again. Just not worth it.
Honestly I'd say with some more practice I think you could get them done no problem.

It looks better than it works www.overclockers.com/forums/showthread.php/786751-Help-on-Trimpot-knowldge/page2 I dont know what is going on with your fat ass wires there what were you thinking of plugging it straight into the power point. The current draw on those control circuits is minimal a strand of 80 pin IDE cable would of been fine for the ground wires too. I am of the same opinion as Dr4goon a bit of practice and you will be good with it just get a dead card and practice soldering wires to chip resistors ideal wire to use is single stranded 80 pin IDE cable. I dont know what iron you have got but you can get a 15 or 25 watt iron from radio shack for under 10 dollars A tube of solder flux will go a long way to make it easy. And a magnifying headset is a great help. www.ebay.com.au/itm/Headband-Headset-LED-Head-Lamp-Light-Jeweler-Magnifier-Magnifying-Glass-Loupe-W1/381986190145?epid=803737936&hash=item58f026b341:g:z5oAAOSwDuJW1u3oYou should be able to find something like that cheap maybe at radio shack.

I too used to be unsteady holding the iron, does take practice and the only way to learn is in doing. I'm not "up" on doing mods so I can't help you there, all I can suggest to that end is to just grab a few dead boards and such for practice, you'll be doing it before you know it.

Practice... we've all done it. and What Mac said. 24AWG would be the largest wire you'd ever need for Volt Modding.
I'd also recommend using a colour code to your liking. like red or yellow for the power point and another colour like black or white as the mod point.
having them all the same colour makes it harder to differ between what side you're on of the trim pot. come up with a standard and stick with it.

37 cards.. wow.. it would be cheaper if you learned how to do it. a descent solder station is under $100 on ebay now. that's less than the shipping for what you are looking for. Here user mllrkllr88 put together a great starter thread: warp9-systems.proboards.com/thread/572/general-gpu-voltmodit may look daunting at first, but it really isn't. In that threat are the tools and material you need to do it... his instructions are great. I've modded a bunch of stuff in the past and still learned a few things in that thread. Also there are a lot of "modded" threads out there to point in in the direction to perform the mods so you don't have to figure it out. Soldering is a valuable skill to have as a basic overclocker. You just need the basics. Start/Try on the cheaper GPU's in your list and in no time you'll have 7xx series card done. Vin
