I've been playing for over a year a game called War Robots. It's come a long way since Beta. Free to play and yes there are purchases. This game is basically a 3rd person shooter with upgrade-able Robots or Mechs. Interchangeable weapons and armor. There's a few different style Robots to choose from. Light Medium and Heavy all varying with weapon configurations. pixonic.com/en/games/war-robotsGLHF!

@shady the PC version is through FaceBook GameRoom. I tried it on my s939 set up but it's pretty laggy. I don't think the old X1800XT has what it takes to run it smoothly, So I game it mostly on mobile personally. @vin, MechWarrior was probably one of my all time favorites and likely why I took to War Robots so easily.. It was called Walking War Robots, but they changed the name a few months back to just War Robots. Any How it's pretty darn popular. You'll never have trouble getting into a 6 vs 6 match. Bones, Battle Bots was a show wasn't it? You built a bot to destroy the other guys bot by radio control. So cool. I really enjoyed that there was traps you could push your opponent into and grind his bot up while smashing it with a hammer or something. So many people with great imaginations and ingenuity, plus destruction. What a good combo!

You can watch it on Youtube, believe you can find a few vids since Season 1 was done in 2015 or 2016, not really sure but around that time frame.
