Headshot too LOL. 20 years ago, Random stone at the beach I haphazardly threw at a seagull 30 yards away. Headshot. Dropped where he stood. Trishia hated me for that. Every once and a while it's still brought up to this day. OY.

My longest kill, a nunchuk over the head of an idiot who was molesting a Catholic School girl on a Chicago CTA Bus when I was about 17 years old. I was coming home from Kung Fu class. I am laughing about it to this very day........................... Edit: And I really DID crack his skull.

Amazing some sucker stood still for ten seconds. Most of my kills where done by hand joking chickens and such Those guys are professionals beyond belief, he probably chose a moment when the guy was having a cigarette or aiming a weapon at another person when he knew his attention would be on something just long enough. He can move as long as he is in that "orbit" for the ten seconds..............then he's gone.

Saw that...crazy amazing shot. Over 2 miles away?? Wow.
Grew up down south and spent years in scouting (weeblows then boy scouts, sea scouts). Got most of the shooting awards but 50 feet to 100 yards is nothin' :/

Longest about 975 yards, Rockchuck, Idaho, 50 grain Speer boattail at 4100 from a 220 Swift. My favorite Master Lock 425 yard 95 grain Nosler Partition, 6mm Rem, opened it for those that remember the commercial.

Totally late to the party, but I can't resist... Yup, sounds like our boys. There's a reason only 1-2 people (usually only one) pass the sniper certification exams every year. It's literally the most brutal certification the Canadian Armed Forces has, and so many of the candidates fail within the first thirty minutes - if you're spotted even once by an instructor, you fail. Oh, and they don't tell you until time's up.

gday white, obviously youve had some experience in this area, interested to know mate, i do know the aussie snipers and crew were sent in to bring down the sadam reigm and , damn i can see his face but cant remember the name and he was shot Does "having the playground invaded by footstompers" count as experience? By such, I'm referring to the fact that 408 TacHel called CFB Namao the world's largest heliport for half a decade once the C130 Hercules aircraft were moved out east, and they affectionately referred to the whole area as their playground. Sadly, then the pipsqueaks (I mean Princess Patricia's ?(oh, Canadian, lol)? Light Infantry 1, aka PPCLI) were moved from Calgary (CFB no idea what it's called, but there were some awesome parties there for a few years) to Edmonton (CFB Namao), and of course there were a few playful grumblings along the lines of "great, now we're going to HAVE to follow the rules for the canteen" - you know it's Air Force when there's beer available in the canteen - a lot of the guys who worked for my dad had a running joke where they'd keep offering me a beer, almost always (deliberately) timing it riiiiiight as dad came around the corner.... I was only 13 at the time, but they never did let me get to have that beer, but to make up for it they'd usually offer me a Canada Dry (ginger ale) ^_^;;; I'm an air force brat, but never enlisted myself due to various reasons (mostly health related though). I have had the chance to talk with a number of difference people in the service though, including some of the instructors for that particular certification. Rather interesting, and VERY laid back kind of guys. Well, laid back when they're off duty anyways. Laid back and sure know how to live up life even more so than the recon guys, which is saying something!

Not the longest but the luckiest shot.
I was 10 yrs old in the backyard messing around with my BB gun and I heard a bird chirping above me in the trees, probrably about 25 to 30 ft up. I didn't even look, just threw the gun up towards where I heard him and shot.... He bumped just about every tree branch on the way down it seemed. Got him in the head/neck area.

Black power guy here, one of the founding members of the club I belong to did a reproduction of a confederate civil war rifle that had a confirmed around 1100 yards and similar the the link provided. Primary difference was his used a back action while the rifle shown is under hammer. Longest civil war is 1390 yards, second link. file:///C:/Users/dell/Downloads/american_target%20(1).html www.wearethemighty.com/articles/sniper-shot-recordHave to paste the first link.
