Nice work pulling that Mosfet up like that. clean solder work kotori.
Can you educate me as to why you would use an external 3.3v power supply instead of the one built in to the PSU?

Vin Thank you Vin-san. I just did not want to 3.3v mod my v850 PSU, I have used external power supply is DC/DC buck converter, power from the PCI-E connector.

How much voltage are you using from your Buck converter is it the actual ram voltage? In other words its not adjustable in the bios any more?

Sorry Pete-san i don't know how to explain about this, dimm voltage adjustable in bios but, it has mother board received output voltage influence of buck converter. Like this Buck converter output 3.6v bios vdimm set to 2.5v at that time vdimm 3.07v bios vdimm set to 2.8v at that time vdimm 3.37v bios vdimm set to 2.9v at that time vdimm 3.48v bios vdimm set to 3v~3.2v at that time vdimm 3.58v ------------------------------------------------------------
First vdimm set to 3.2v in bios, and adjust required voltage in the buck converter side, usually I'm doing.
