NASA: Mars Rover "Concept" With Detachable Science Lab Designed by US based Parker Brothers Concepts The vehicle is 28 feet (8.5 meters) long - 13 feet (4 meters) wide. Solar powered and designed for 15mph or less. Nasa expects to land on Mars around 2030. About the same year my son graduates High School.

The military is still testing the ripsaw for a fast attack vehicle. Can you imagine a laser targeted mini gun, HUD on helmet visor, where all you do is look at the target and pull the trigger as you drive by? The US will have to have a couple hundred of those.

I grew up buying old Taurus SHOs in high school, my dad had one and I just loved the motor in these cars. Yamaha build V6 with 220HP, DOHC, forged crank and strong pistons. Redline of 7300RPM. This engine is capable of 700+ HP with mostly stock internals. Here are a couple cool videos of some engine swapped dune buggies. I think it's one of the best looking engines ever produced.
And another one (engine throws a rod near the end. Despite this, they are a bulletproof motor for the most part)

(I say that since our main tank is called the Leopard, and I could have sworn we used to have a Lynx too - yup, they were replaced with the Coyote twenty years ago, right around when the pips tried to take over our glorious base! lol (aka Calgary PPCLI was moved to Edmonton))

you from calgary WW ? nice place, been there twice, BUT too bloody cold for me I was there for a year, does that count? I've lived in Edmonton for half my life, and grew up around 408 "Flying Geese" Tactical Helicopter Squadron (aka TacHel). I have been on the old base in Calgary though, for an event called Canada Day '06. Man that was a damn good time, especially with Alphazone and Dark by Design leading things, and then.... yeah, whoever it was I went there for... I've never seen a hangar floor clear so quickly. Everyone expected him to play his stuff, not his remixed Tiesto. Smokers went to the smokers pit, but a good 25% of that floor said screw it and filed out the door to their cars... Uhm, wow. Totally off topic. But yeah, I've lived in Calgary, but Edmonton's technically my stomping ground. You want cold without going up to the arctic circle (or somewhere boring like Ft Mac)? Go live in Red Deer for five years, you get both layers of hell that are Edmonton and Calgary, including a 20km stretch of land that truckers REALLY don't like called "Deer Valley". You want weird messed up weather? It's in Deer Valley. it's messed up weather because that particular area just happens to be PERFECT for where all the various air currents meet up, so it could be perfectly clear, 5C going up the hill... Then you hit the valley, and it's almost whiteout conditions, and like -15C. And yeah, what was mentioned by ShrimpBrine... Cold's great, crack the window open two inches, have the GPU right near that... (or be smart, and use a sacrificial $20 fan to blow the cold air at said GPU)... BOOM, you can almost get a GTX 780 Classified on it's stock cooler (but a modded bios)... Within grasping range of 1400MHz core. Sadly, I could only get it to 1372MHz, but still. I really should give it's brother a whirl - sadly, I don't have that card anymore, it kind of was turned into my GTX 980 when a fan died, and that was turned into a GTX 980 Ti when it had a fan failure (Luff me MemoryExpress' IPR!). Was nervous as all hell about that though, since it was my daily rig *whistles innocently* But yeah, Canadian winters... So can't wait to have a house, because then it's a case of set the bench up outside, and start the mayhem! But that's at least a few years away.
