For all you automotive enthusiasts, I'd like to mention a game my 5 year old has talked about for at least 2 years. Finally I downloaded it and are now able to play on the big screen because I built that HTPC rig!
It's available on steam. There are mods and new vehicle downloads that are free for the game so the only purchase is for the game it's self.
Realistic environments and maps come along with gravity modifications and more. You can drive small cars to Tractor and Trailer.
There is AI that allows car chases and such which makes it fun along with campaign missions and free drive where you can really just drive off a cliff to observe damage. Realistic settings include hydro locking the engine if you find your way under water and can also snorkel your vehicle and actually drive under water.
There is a lot to this game. I'm still trying to figure out all the controls and such, so really Novice over here. But recommend this game for people that enjoy driving and automotive as much as I do.
Hope to add screen shots later on and perhaps a video if I can figure it out enough lol.
Pretty cool From 5 stars I'd give it a solid 4. I'd give more but find at certain points the game will freeze up, but I'm not sure if that's on account of my own mistakes or if the game is somewhat buggy. Once I determine which is which I may change my rating for this title but it's a solid 4 otherwise. The free downloads for more makes and model vehicles is really nice where most games you pay for that extra content. The game is 25 bucks, which isn't over priced while most titles can cost you in access of 60$ (US)
Try it out if you have steam. If you don't have steam..... Well this game should have you rethink that! At the very least, watch some videos and you'll see.... it's a really awesome game! More like a realistic simulator than anything!
