Picked up a 7350K yesterday got it today and didn't pay extra for shipping? Not posting cause of the fast delivery but how it was packaged. CPU in the center of a 21 cpu holder sealing in bubble wrap then wrapped in more bubble wrap and placed in the smaller box which was in the center of the larger box wrapped in more bubble wrap. Little over the top!

It amuses me the way some people pack things. What board you going to use it in? I have got a Maximus IX Apex here for the 7350K & 7700K that I have got. Edit: Ah its got the lid off it I just noticed.

Lid on just showing the bottom side in the pic, Actually picked up a 6320 and a Asrock 170 OC for blck clocking, the 7350 was getting ready so haven't decided on a 270 yet.

It will run in your Z170. But I equate that to Z87/Z97 the Z87 can run the chips the Z97 can but the Z97 was a better chipset.

I'll agree that 270 is probably better for the Ks but don't know how they blck or if they do.

Actually you are right there as far as I know Intel put a stop to the unlocked bios for Z170 after Asrock advertised the cheap B chipset could overclock. I dont think there are any unlocked bioses for Z270. Good Luck with the 6320 a lot of them are duds I have got a 6100 as well as a 6320. The 6320 cant do 4.8 on water the 6100 only just does over 4.8. I have heard of a lot of them that dont clock well.

Where I was going lot XTU points possible with the 170, 270 equates to the Ks only.
Last statements, kinda always been a luck of the draw when ambient cooling is used.

I hate XTU you will need a good set of BDie 12-12-12-28 @ 4000Mhz is whats required there you have got a good board for it though. I will be having a go at XTU with the Kabys though.

Never had a board really badly packaged, but have gotten more than a few VGAs in padded envelope mailers without added protection. AMD CPUs are probably the biggest miss packaged items I get, once got a bare one in in a padded mailer with instructions on how to straighten bent pins included, cheap CPU so good for a laugh but spent a good while getting it in the socket.
