I hope You don't mind starting this new thread. We can discuss any interesting test here. Some new stuff or ln2 pretests and so and so. First, I'm going to show You my new Q6600 cpus quick dice pretest. Crying for ln2 I think ! hwbot.org/submission/3443587_

Wprime was just for fun. But 570 fsb stable with this Q6600 sounds good.

I bought a socket adapter and did a fast test on my DQ6. It works nearly perfect ! I can control everything except vcore. What mod should I use ? A fix vid mode or try some pin mode that allows vcore setting ? I'm thinking of buying a P5B deluxe. Do You have any experience with it ? valid.x86.fr/dxcxvd

Here is a short video from the only one sweet part of my session for the Div 7. It was fantastic moment for me ! Bringing back to the golden era for a short period ! I love this platform so much and 3dmark01 is my favourite benchmark so it was such a feeling for me. Not to mention that it was my first ln2 cooled vga also and what a vga... God ! It was a beast !

When I was realized that my Rex (on air cooled nb) is running out of fsb not the E7400 reaching a wall ! valid.x86.fr/258c5dIt's also insane about voltages. It begs for subzero cooling !

What NB voltage are you giving it I run up to 1.9v through mine 655 Bus and I know Scannck was running about the same voltage with the standard air cooler. Rex needs big NB voltage for high bus speed.

I gave about 1,55, didn't want to push harder, the main thing was seen at that level even. It is a fu&@n' good cpu ! Nb was around or even above 50 degrees, today was pretty hot day but anyway it was no sense to torture any stuff better than it was a must for pleasure benching. I could cool with water but the fact is that I didn't thought I will be able to see such fsbs. I made some pretty nice submissions even because this little wolfdale is really a mad one. The cpu wasn't pushed hard after that, because it has to be rebenched with ln2 or with dice. I have a small ss, so cpu temps jumped up to positives on higher clocks. With a maximum of 1,55 vcore I was able to absolve some benches around the 5 ghz barrier and could validate at 5170 mhz which is more than awesome. All the storey is too good to be true, I hope cb doesn't kick at -45 degrees or smthg like that. Anyway, any of You knows when they usually cb ? Are they similar than the "big" wolfdales ?

Not exactly LN2 pretesting but maybe still interesting: Finally went through binning my RAM - pretty amazed what my BBSE can do under air at "low-ish" Frequencys (tested on an i5 750 at 1.8 GHz; Superpi results are just to test if it runs at all. Subtimings aren't tuned, so there is more potential here): 2 Stick of G.Skill RipjawsX 2200 9-9-9 BBSE; 1 Stick does that at 1.82, second one needs 1.84V. The OEM BBSE I picked up also isn't too bad: OEM BBSE is also doing fairly well; one out of two sticks managed these settings at 1.9V; the other is having trouble with the tRP at 5 and needs 1.86V for 5-9-6-18. Now to find a third stick that does tRCD 8 for triple channel... 5-9-5-18 BBSE should still beat 7-7-7-21 Hypers shouldn't it?

All that looks good! I'd think it would but if I recall correctly CAS5 wasn't a real timing..... Would show up but was said to be something that just wasn't right/invalid according to the bot.
It happened in a comp and some entries got tossed out including one I had in.
One of the others with better memory than I can fill you in better but I know an issue concerning timings did come up.
