I just picked up 4 of their SSD's. Work acquaintance was speaking highly of them... at $70CAD delivered each I figured I'd give them a try.
before this I've only used their SD and Micro SD cards and found them average at best...

i dunno the first thing about a raid configuration vin, ive seen pete do it b4 and confused me big time lol For me, all I doing is putting them in series. So the four 120GB look like one 480GB drive. Here I get the size and also the performance boost from each port.
If id only got a single 480GB SSD, then the best speed I could had gotten is the 250MB read/write my SATAII port could had delivered.

you should upgrade your mobo to SATA III mobo it is much faster Vin and those SSDs would run much faster read speeds then and mine has a bunch of shit on it lmao PNY and this is the OLD ass OCZ which was much faster 6 years ago when I bought it lmao

Ya, I'm aware a new mobo would help a bunch. But then I'm in to $1000++ for that as I'd need a CPU/MB and possibly RAM...
Could so a PCIe raid card as well, but again in the same boat, a descent one would be in the $400-500+ range...
Waiting to see what Zen brings before jumping on anything.

Vin yea I didnt think about that I am gonna upgrade to M.2 sooner or later those things are awesome I got M.2 on my mobo a MSI X99A Gaming 7 its a good mobo the only upgrade I might make is if zen drops the prices of 5960x and 6900k then I might think about a major upgrade like that but I want 2 waterblocks and the rest of the parts to watercool my main system before I think about that lol and that wont be happening anytime soon
