Just got my hands on some slot 1 pentium III's, and an asus p3b-f that unfortunletely is dead and i can't figure out a way to revive her. Hence the question, what are the essential boards for benching slot 1 that i should consider buying? cheers all

440BX chipset boards. The Abit boards are the kings.

Thank you Kotori-san It's really hard to find these boards in Poland. i looked for each one Scotty has listed here and no luck so far. Guess i'll have to keep hunting... Thanks to Scotty too for a nice list. And that water block mounting was a bit inspired after one of your subs at hwbot, i saw you clamped a block with a C type clamp to the cartridge

I killed a Slot-A athlon by clamp overtightened, so 2 Clamp method seems to require delicate tightening. Yes those is hard to find, runner-up is Aopen AX6BC series same 440BX.
