See if you can raise the multi up it might have become locked now. My 565be unlocks to 3 cores in my crosshair 4 and Gig 890FXA but it becomes a non BE max multi is 14x But the 565 stays a BE unlocked in my M5A99X.
Its horses for courses when unlocking them some work in some board and not in others. Different boards unlock different processors better

dunno what the term is pete but ill use this, i think she might be all biosed out , its taking forever to boot again now after the 3 bios changes, say if i put different ram in it wont want to boot even after a cmos clr, even with the ballistix in, it goes into the hdd light flashing thing and just keeps boot looping so ive pulled the battery and put the cmos jumper on and gunna leave it onight and have another look 2mozz, maybe it needs a reinstall too and redo the chipset, ive only got the f4 and f8 bioses left to try out lol, weve tried all the others, maybe a reinstall will help coz when i upped the mem clock to 280 fsb the screen flashed the the screen went black and white chequered (never seen that happen b4 ) then it came back to windows and road to pro background and said the gpu driver has recovered from some driver issue lol, then crashed, so im thinkin a reinstall, and drivers again then retry with the f4 and f8 bioses

I've just bought an ud3p because my Dfi is still asleep. Had a fast test yesterday, looks nice ! I'm going to make the vmod, that 1.55V barrier is just a bit narrow.

ok guys i have a problem here with my gig board, its baffled me for 2 days, and pete came over and its got him beat too, so if its got pete beat then i got no chance of workin it out
itll boot into windows, but will not let me go into bios, clrs cmos, battery out for 16 hrs, clrd cmos dozens of times prior, battery voltage is 3v, changed card, ram, mouse. keyboards, does the same thing, goes to the gig home page, and as soon as you go to delete nothing happen, no bios, let it go thru the gig page itll go into windows and all works fine, the page comes up, the purpley coloured one where it says default or last known good to select, touch a key on the keyboard the timer stops and does nothing, reboot it and it goes back to the same page . let it go thru the timer itll boot straight into windows no probs, seems somehow its locked the bios up but itll use the bios and go to xp just fine, then all the keyboard , mouse works fine, it all started when i got this new zotac gtx 580 card to try, i had the gtx 560 in it prior, went into windows with both no worries but touch a keyboard key and nothing happens until youre into windows now, i did hit the wrong key and the enter password red box came up, i hit the . button but didnt press enter, i couldnt get rid of the password box, so restart and it would come up again, then it wouldnt come up and go back to the last known good or default box, touch any keyboard key it would lock up and go no where,, reboot itll go straight into windows again and all is fine, buggered if i know, any thought boys pls ? only thing i can think of is change the cpu coz its the same 6000 windsor i posted and subbed with the night b4 and all good, maybe thatll make it change the bios thinking

The only thing I can think to do at the moment is to flash the bios in windows that should clear passwords and anything else.

Exactly my thoughts. Backup bios chip is probably corrupted too.
