Totally down, trying to tame my 14700k - so far the computer has randomly shut off about 6 times but I'm slowly figuring it out haha
All I have is the 420 AIO so yeah loop is totally fine - and the thread can def be public =P

I have a loop without a radiator. I can probably bench up to about 5.7ghz P-cores. Maybe 5.8 on a cool day. Start with your e-cores OC is my only pointer at this time. Our rigs are really similar. I can do 3400mhz memory stable enough. Not with great timings, but will try and work on that.

Excellent appreciate that, I did take a look at your sub and noticed you got more from the e-cores OC than I did from my p-core OC - our RAM is even similar - I can't get it stable past 3400 MHz but they were cheap sticks. I can do 5700 on all p-cores on certain tests; realtime prio can cause problems though - if I try r20 in realtime at 5700 my rig turns off instantly.

Okay so I was up pretty early and I WFH anyways so I figured lets try the e-cores: x56 all P-Core, x46 all E-core, adaptive voltage with a -0.020V offset got me: hwbot.org/submission/5648034_ (201648 MIPS) Your turn Shrimpy! =P

Well done, I'll give it another rip probably tomorrow! No hurries, Wasn't as easy as it looked. Edit: V-core auto - LLC auto, I checked was at Lvl 4 by the bios. P-cores at 100c.

Okay note to self, settle with 14142 and never run it again lol Edit: I was hoping it was some sort of overvoltage condition or something, on normal prio it's fine - but even still I don't really have any reason to push that bench No other test other than R20 caused the shut-off, the run that was best pulled 304W which was the highest I've seen - but only that bench caused the shutdown so I'll just avoid it

As you see it's not a temp thing, 100c isn't a big deal. A weak Fet might be an issue. MSI said they replaced a cap, but the board still shuts off. Got this TUF and I haven't experienced that yet. So, good idea, don't push it. I mean unless you got a backup board or something.

OK Picked up where I left off. Adjusted the timings a touch. 38-40-40-109. Set tREFI to 10831 from the last sub was set to 8831. Cache from 4.6ghz to 4.8ghz this run. The CPU clocks are unchanged, stock v-core (auto) and LLC is still set Auto (reads lvl 4.) 203155 MIPS hwbot.org/submission/5648494You're next!! We getting near the top of that list now, top 10, 8th and 9th place! I'm hoping you and I on ambient can take at least 5th and 6th place. Tweak it up! Edit: Updated Original Post

Okay Shrimp: Round Four - BCLK! hwbot.org/submission/5649024_205069 MIPS Your move good sir (please forgive my typo in notepad my sub lol - was excited lol) OK, I really had to work for that one. I mean that seriously. Bumped to 101.80 BCLK for 5.7ghz P-core. e-cores still only 4580mhz only. Which it seems to like this divider multiplier without positive v-core offset. So I've just been sticking with it because of the thermals. edit in: V-core still on Auto. I did bump LLC to Lvl 5. 3rd highest preventative V-droop setting. Bumped Memory divider. this is now 3530mhz tREFI at 11831 now tRAS lowered to just 99 so far. 205281 MIPS hwbot.org/submission/5649049YOUR TURN!! Having a blast!

w00000t it was funny I looked at my page on HWBOT and saw I lost points on the 7zip and was like - oh he must have done it again!
I'll really have to work hard for the next one, that last sub took a few tries

Mine too, picked em up from a buddy at work. Samsung chips. Not suitable for high frequency or even decent timings. But work with what you got Ya know? Try 1.43 Vdimm and 1.35 System Agent. Timings are ok. Put a fan on the sticks. 7000mhz should bench

That will have us 5th and 6th places keeping the team rank strong. Means other teams would have to pass both of us. And once you do, you can keep the points. If you're kinda stuck where you're at points wise w/e, bump the cache freq up. That should help you. You have enough v-core to support and sustain probably 5.1 to 5.2ghz cache.

Work on the memory timings too. Most of the benchmarks are pretty sensitive to memory OC and tweaks. Ycruncher, Pifast, 7zip so forth.
