Bear in Mind when you install W10/11 you see W7 Gui on Setup, MS was so hell bent on replacing Aero Glass with crummy Metro, its why I despise 10, along side with roving a lot of function from the control panel to "settings"

Hey I'm one of those people who does this, I made windows 10 look like MS-dos. and 98 look like vista years ago. Its amazing what you can do in a afternoon.

Forgot W10/11 are bogus on certain gestures such as drag n drop from certain things.
Also I hope the devs move everything that was put into settings back into the control panel where it belongs with the UI that W3.1~7 have.
Also have Windows 98~7 style update system where it is not forced onto you like in 10 and 11. Outside of having to do a custom iso I had to use both gpedit and regedit just to kill 11's Windows Update. The Ex GFs rig has been running untainted vanilla W11 since I built the rig in Late 21, it is 2 years old. I replaced the context menu with the W7/10 version.
I hope the devs bring full customization that 98SE had which was lost after XP released.

I liked Aero Glass in 7, but I also noticed there we were losing gui customization. I really hope the devs stay on top of this project, because it seems ReactOS will never reach beta |

I hatted losing that. modding the UI in vista and up is a pain in the butt. I liked Aero Glass in 7, but I also noticed there we were losing gui customization. I really hope the devs stay on top of this project, because it seems ReactOS will never reach beta TBH you can do the same level of gui customization in 7 8 10 and maybe 11 as you could in 9x-xp but its not so simple, you have to mod .dll and other system files or do a shell swap. I ended up shell swapping my windows 10 system to make it like ms-dos using comemu. Shell swapping has its pros and cons too.
