Just for the sake of it, i wanted to make myself a pc case that meets all my expectations. I wanted an elegant, well made, mostly metal case. I really dislike all the plastic crap and flashy RGB led's all over, which seems to be an ongoing trend in case design today, or even mobos. So i tought a little bit, sketched, and came up with a simple idea, a case with a steel tubular frame, and aluminum/clear panels, nothing too fancy, the fanciest thing about it is the idea i have for a tool-less panels. Basically the bigger holes that you see on the photo, are for cylinders with round magnets. 4 of these screwed onto the panel, and then you just pop the panel on, magnets secure it in place. no screws, no effort at all. this is why i had to keep the frame steel, but i have an idea how to make an aluminum one that will do the trick too. Basically on the pic there's a complete frame that i welded by myself at work, holes are CNC machined. Now i need to make the inner panels, maybe i'm going to make a thread on bit-tech.net, for the modding compo they put up: if you think my idea is cool enough. i'll keep you guys posted about the progress. Thanks for any comments, critique, in advance

I like it, personally have something similar floating around in my head but more furniture based, finished with oak and wrought iron for a craftsman look.

I like it, will you have feet to give the bottom of the PSU room to breathe?
