Hey guy's,
My Z97X SOC Force have a bit of an issue. Everything works besides the BCKL ± buttons. Do you have any idea why this happens?
And does somebody have the cross flash SOC Force LN2 bios for the normal soc force?

What's the difference between SOC Force and regular SOC?

Should just be the CPU VRM, with the Force having 8 phases and normal SOC with only 4. Doesn't matter that much, since this gen had FIVR. I actually thought it had 2 DIMM slots like the SOC Force LN2. So alex2305 , be warned your vDIMM might be stuck at 1.5v. That was the case when I crossflashed my normal Z97X-SOC to this X04 BIOS. Nbd, since you can flash right back if you need. edit: Looking at photos, regular Force seems to have the same RAM VRM as the LN2 so you actually might be fine with vDIMM.

Lot of the people say it's no problem beside that only 2 dimms work. Yeah. Only the VRM is stronger.
I'm bit sad that the buttons don't work but if someone else have this problem I'm bit relaxed because it seems to be "normal".
At the beginning I thought it's broken because it won't boot over 105FSB under normal conditions.... Found a good guide for OCing it and after that it was fine. But the BCLK buttons don't work.
I love this board and I got it cheap here. I want a LN2 one but it's not available easy. But the next problem I have is that I need strong hynix ddr3 for Maxmem validation and I have some CFR but MFR should be better

You should be able to do 190 range once things are set up properly. Have you considered Samsung G- or D-die?

For Max Mem clock vali hynix should be the best option I think.
G die for benching is very good but hard to get here in good bin

So your saying I could put X04 bios on my regular SOC without any problems?

So your saying I could put X04 bios on my regular SOC without any problems? There will be one problem: I tried this myself and could not adjust vDIMM on the regular SOC. IIRC it goes like this with X04: - SOC Force LN2 works flawlessly - SOC Force should only work with 2 DIMMs, otherwise no issues - SOC does not allow for adjusting vDIMM (probably also only 2 DIMM slots, but this is a non-issue) But I bet with a trimpot you can get around that problem on the regular SOC. Worst case scenario, you can flash back after X04 on regular SOC. I did this myself once I saw vDIMM was locked at 1.5v.

Yeah, 1.5 ain't gonna work for me. Need 1.65 at least. Best bios for SOC? Any idea?

Sorry, not sure on the best for regular SOC. I just used the latest when I used it. Bot is down so I can't check what others used for it.

It's a long shot but maybe the z97x soc have an I2C header so maybe you can control the Vdimm regular externally with an EVC2
Did this on my crosshair v Formula Z.
Can change Vdimm, Vcore and some other stuff.
But to check you need the board schematics to check if it have an PWM controller for these things.

It's an unattended site.... I don't know what's going on, I'm not invited to HWBot discord, which I figure the update on the issue would be considering the forums are also down. Maybe starting an in house comp would give team mates something to bench for.

So far, it's planned server down time. THanks for the link.
