-112 idle.
-102 steady with 500 watts load. 2500 usd.
Seeing the continous shit of the BOT and the full deterioration of the Team, it is not worth it.
You saw, I suppose, the MVP thread.
Even if you promise them 50.000 dollars, noone will get up and bench seriously for the Team.
It is all said and done.

Think that no one takes HWBot seriously any more for exactly the reasons you just described. It's not that we ( and I cannot speak for everyone here) don't want to grind hard for the team. But how many times will we be fastest Team in the world to watch that stripped from HWBot "points clean sweep". For example, all the htpp I earned last year running Unigene Tropics was stripped. I estimate a personal loss of roughly 500 htpp there. This does not count everyone else's subs for that benchmark. Edit in. Benched 100 cards. U,TROPICS, htpp per sub 5 or 6 http. No UP for this bench. All removed. Let's not talk the dollars benching this one, just think of my time lost? Figure 5 minutes each run. About 100 runs. Probably more. I wasted it. 500+ minutes of time wiped out. I am agreeing with you. 100%. |

The way I look at it is, if you want to be competitive, you have to have bleeding edge hardware. And then to actually be competitive, you have to run the shit out of said hardware at the temps described a few posts up. I can see how freezing hardware is appealing, but by doing that you cut off 98-99% of those who can play with hardware.
I am all for freezing hardware, but you have to understand you are only in competition with other people who are freezing hardware.

I can see how freezing hardware is appealing, but by doing that you cut off 98-99% of those who can play with hardware. I am all for freezing hardware, but you have to understand you are only in competition with other people who are freezing hardware. Cooling leagues are silly. We opposed it since day one. |

Paid a few years back 1200 euros + 300 euros for shipping for the strongest SS ever manufactured. 2hp. One year WRITEN warranty for parts and labor. Three months. And then..psssssss ..all R407 out. Tubing broke apart. He said " send it back for tepair". Right! 300 + 300 to go and return. Long story short, after a dead end, one day two "gentlemen" waited for him to return from work. Took 2000 euros from him and warned him. I got my 1500, they got their 500 and I sold the dead SS "as is" to Bruno for 400. Everyone happy. I am not sure about Nachtfalke though. |

Wish we had new people here so we could explain OC to them and tips and tricks . Miss teaching people. People like that would know where they belong and stay at Warp 9 . I bet You , Scotty and Macs miss that .

The problem is not that anyone is bored to teach.
The problem is that a patient teacher must have an odedient audience that love the class the subject.
Five or ten years ago it could be done.
Not anymore.
Kids play games. Their only interest is more FPS. Games on line with their friends.
Young people are totally different from us.
We have culture. We know to respect and appreciate. We grew up at times that values were important and a primary concern.
TODAY, it is only $$$, pussy, McDonalds and light stupid fun. Nothing else.
Parents are responsible for this.
