Hi everyone,
Got P5AD2-E Premium from Austin. Following Wytiwx's mostly complete guide here (Post#6): web.archive.org/web/20230812122809/http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?295834-How-to-Mod-for-Special-Fun-of-Overclocking-from-your-LGA775-Motherboard
(P5WD2 in that section, but I'm sure 925XE can get it going since he did.)
Current status:
Pad mods seemingly working, or almost. Get code D0-- with modified E2140. Microcode injected into BIOS already through MMTOOL.
With no pads, POST code ----, so the pad mod is at least partly helping.
Still POSTs fine with Pentium 650 so board ain't fried yet, nor did I brick it.
Has anyone encountered code D0-- when modding in CPU support? Have I botched the BIOS mod?
