Aleslammer – AM3 -6/6 – DDR3 – 191.287 Seconds It was on the bench, testing some higher binned DD3 that didn't work out like I hoped. CPU sucks got one core that needed 3 extra loops to complete.

Is this to enable Odd number Cas latencies? If so, and you run even... why would it matter if enabled or not? Genuine curiosity. That's all it seemed to do for my late 2700X rig.

The honest answer is that I don't really know. The average person says "GDM enabled @ 1T basically means 1.5T." Now looking into what more informed people have said... It seems Command & Address buses run every 2nd cycle. In practice, it becomes much easier to push high FCLK & RAM speed. Still don't think I 100% get it.

Gear down mode is a useless trick. For the amateur to average user who does not have the deep knowledge to tune mems. No insult intended here friends.
I have three profiles for AMD ryzen on the less than optimal ( very average board ) crosshero VII.
1) FCLK 2000, mems 4000, 14-14-14-30-1T very tight secondaries. 2) FCLK 1900, other memory set, 4466, 16-16-16-36-2T, 1.55V, daily profile. 3) Benching profile. FCLK 1900, 4700, 16-17-17-17-37-2T, 1.70V.
Vsoc from 1.15V to 1.25V, depending on profile.
All profiles very steady.
