On Thursday it's back to work where I have to fly for almost 2 hours just to get to the place. Been doing this for 12 years and it does not get easier.....I hate flying. I have to do this flight almost weekly. When I worked for Carnival in the USA (Miami based) , that was even worse , flights every few days from Miami to LA , Baltimore , Mexico , Caribbean just to name a few.
Worst place I ever worked in was the Bahamas , total shit holes , both of the Islands .
How anyone likes flying is beyond me . Just having a rant guys , hate flying.

I recently flew to Richmond Virginia to visit my best friend. The flight going there was fine. But on the way back I threw up 2 times, once on the plane and another time in the car. It got so bad that I slept for 18 hours to recover from the Jet lag. This is probably going to be my last time I fly on a plane.

not a fan of flying either.. my job used to have me flying a lot (mostly NA, few times to EU). now I'm more senior it's not nearly sa often (4-5 times a year)... I do not like it.. I'[d rather drive if I could.

Only flown maybe 9 times in my life and that was in 2005, 2006, 2011, 2015. With me knowing that is going on in my country I wouldn't be trusting of many airline management and maintainers, it all starts with the big guy and his dope head son, and since they are shit, it rolls down hill. I overhaul landing gear for a living on corporate jets, I do my job 100% correct every time before I sign off anything, if I am in doubt about anything I will either correct it myself or not sign off on something.
