I am trying to get Catalyst Control Center to launch under w10 home 20H2. I manually installed the driver. Using the 10-2_legacy_vista32-64_dd_ccc.exe driver

Ok got ccc working, now Is there anyway to get a bios dump, gpu-z and ati tray tools state it cant read the bios. Im presuming this is an igp

Wow, I totally missed it in the description. sorry about that and feel a little stupid. I can't really find much on that GPU, oddly enough it's not listed on HWB either. They show the mobility X1050 then the X1300 and up. But where the x1250 comes up is as an Xpress X1250, but the datasheet doesn't list it as an Xpress. What I can't on the Xpress X1250 is that is it only had a max of 128BM of memory. But the lappy datasheet shows shared up to 831MB... one thing I found is that nearly all resources on the GPU are linked to the motherboard. by any chance can you increase the blk in the bios (I doubt you could being a Toshiba). the GPU lists a 500mhz core, 400Mhz Memory, I'd think that GPU would have some ratio to blk and that GPU core would increase if you could raise the blk. just a hunch and searching on the bot, I only found 1 sub that looks like it was somehow Overclocked.. look at the GPU core..
all other subs were 500core/400mem.
I think you may be out of luck on this quest

I found disassembly instructions even. www.irisvista.com/tech/laptops/Toshiba-Satellite-A305/laptop-disassembly-process-1.htmThe chipset is known as the AMD M690G, it is the Xpress 1250 igpu, so yeah its all tied into the mainboard bios and uses the main system ram as its vram. www.computer-specifications.com/specifications/Toshiba-SatelliteA305DS6848-Specs.htmlI will have to see if the bios is tuneable Inspite it having a 5400 rpm drive it runs fine, ofc the ram is maxed out at 4G |

as a Follow up, i perused the bios, it is very basic and has no means of adjusting any clockspeeds, heck it doesnt even have the ability to specify how much ram should be reserved for the igp, Id need a overhauled bios that unlocks those options but unless if i have a plcc bios chip to swap, im not going down that path for the time being |
