FTL: Faster Than Light (videogame)

It's an older game, maybe some of you have heard of it already. You choose a ship and move through sectors to fight the rebel flagship, gathering crew, subsystems, and weapons along the way through various choices (and a lot of RNG). If you end up playing it, definitely enable Advanced Edition content. It adds more choices, alien races, ship subsystems, & ships. Ships are the only things that need to be unlocked, everything else is randomized per run.

I've enjoyed playing it on and off for about 8 years now. Soundtrack alone is great. It's $10, consider giving it a shot.
