It's a trip man. I wonder how many are out there that they just haven't seen yet. This planet has been hit before and it will get hit again. The asteroid doesn't have to be necessarily large either. The speed at which it impacts is what does the damage.

23 years from now. Everything can change by that time. Like it can be hit by another rock. For a planet scale disaster it has to be starting from 10-11km in diameter, ways bigger. So even if it strikes, it's gonna be a local event.
