Grieving over my buddy Thor (German Short Hair Pointer) He is greatly missed. Born 1/24/2014
Rescued him in 2018, he rescued me, I had to send Him to Heaven on Monday 1/9/2023.

I lost my best friend THOR, my German Short Hair Pointer because of liver failure from an infection in his lungs and liver.
I had to send my buddy THOR to Heaven, Monday January 9th 2023.
I saved THOR from the street in 2018. THOR saved my life and brought joy to my life, was always there in my darkest days and better days. Went with me to my girlfriend Terri's every moment we could, because he had his girlfriend Sierra, went to the beach, even traveled to see a friend of mine in San Angelo, Texas. THOR Loved playing fetch with tennis balls, even would speak at times.
THOR always slept by my side or by my feet, would put his head on me throught out the day. Throughout the day even in the morning THOR would either hit me with his paw or nudge my hand. THOR would grunt when I gave him hugs, and would also bark so he could get through a gate just to be with me.
THOR was Born January 24 2014.
Even at the last moment THOR wagged His tail with me laying over Him, He knew it was me. He had a Tear in His Eye
I have been in mourning over THOR since. I gave THOR the best life he could ever have had. THOR is dearly missed. I pray I will see THOR again!
I will probably be gone for awhile to sort my life out and pray to God to help me.
Please pray for me

I haven't lost many people, but losing a pet is a sure fire way to see me turn into a tear and snot factory. Mostly for dogs, but I did have a couple of cool cats over the years.. have one right now actually, his name is Ash, and he is a silvery grey color.. he has a sheen to him. Beautiful. We have a Pomsky right now.. yappy little ankle biter.. she's a good girl though, serious food hound.. Our last was a Great Dane, before her we had a Newfie, and a short hair yellow lab before her. Thats going back to when I was a kid now.. Anyways I am rambling.. sorry.. Hope you feel better soon! Now is a good time to go adopt a new friend.. just saying |

I know i am very late eidairman1 , but i too am sorry for your loss! o7 Thor Our 13 yr old Golden has been my best buddy since she was 5 mo old. Middle daughter got her for our grandson, but we kept her with us since they moved out when she was about 7or8 She is same way, by my side 24/7 even busting into the potty lol ( like, Dad, you Ok? ) Sadly her time is very limited as she came down with G.I. cancer {common} couple months after me 2020 It's starting to effect her quite a bit more last 3 months<script src="moz-extension://4d1149eb-44a3-432d-9042-d25c0d1ee5c2/js/app.js" type="text/javascript"></script> |

Love them every second and Honor them after they go to Heaven Well February 4th-5th 2023, I drove 14/15 Hours to Hartwell GA from Houston TX, I picked up a Puppy that was 3 Months 13 days Old. He is a liver with roan patch on his chest German Short Hair Pointer I named Thunder Middle name Thor, to Honor my Beloved Thor. Id show pics of them. @mrscott is there anyway of posting pictures? As Mac points out use the blue reply button, then the add attachment button. If you're trying to post a digital image from a camera/phone I use Irfanview, resize to 1080, store as a jpg, in the most part puts the image under the restrictions of the site. Can also use an image hosting service, I generally don't do as sooner or later just becomes an ad for the site. |

I take a pic with the phone and then email it to myself and then attempt to upload. Most of the time the email will reduce the size automatically and it'll fit the 1mb forum restriction.
Which drives me absolutely nuts. I'd have quite a bit more uploaded here, but I digress.

Windows Paint, in there you can resize by %, start with 50/50. and also try in png or jpg format.
