I like SuperPi 32m and wPrime 1024m, but that's just me.  I'm super down for this competition, got austin86 's Classified3 as well as both DX58SO/2 boards coming in. |

Might, have a couple Sabertooths and a RIIE that I haven't put power to.
Intel block on the WC. Any form of cooling fine with me except air, other than a stock cooler nothing that will mount.
I'll do WP1024, like that bench on 1366
Might be better to use CPU Profile and 7-Zip not everyone on the team has sub'd there so some possible TP's, or any pointer bench the team has low sub count on.

I am not making suggestions here, just wondering I think a lot of it comes down to cost and convenience. A box of 8400s is what? 15-20$ and you can still use modern Hdds and heat sinks. And unlike newer hardware its still a chore to OC.
If you go back further say to sk939 or 462 (witch are far funner to OC BTW) parts are harder to find and more costly.

This should cut the participants down a lot, I don't mind. Scotty likes Ryzen, so 7000 series, this will bring 2 participants maybe? I know I'm not buying into this platform for sure. |

How about 3D ?
Cheap cards. Amd HD series or/and gtx up to 600 series.
I assure you that 3D benching is a lot more difficult than 2D.
And cold will not save your ass if you do not know exactly what to do.

Here is a thought, 12/13 gen locked CPU ram tweek/bench of some sorts. From what I know locked 12/13th gen chips are supper challenging to OC ram with. Or would that be to narrow and exclusive???
