So I purchased this cheap open air case for GPU folding/Mining and got it to use as an open air bench testing station for the cheap-sies. I plan to modify it so that I can have a DVD/CD burner and a floppy drive attached to the underside so it's out of the way. The power supply bolts to the side of the motherboard and makes it easy to stand the whole thing up on it's side because the weight of the PSU keeps it planted pretty good. After the mod's I intend to do I"m not sure if that will stay that way but I'll see once I get it finished. Pics to come. UPDATE:

Is there any posts that explain the best way to post pics. Do pics have to be stored offsight and links used for pics?

If you are going to post a lot of pics I would link them offsite.

If you are going to post a lot of pics I would link them offsite. This is not a new concept to me but from past experiance this can be a really big pita. Is there a preferred FREE while being easy to use image hosting service besides google or Microsoft?

Is there a preferred FREE while being easy to use image hosting service besides google or Microsoft? Imgur works well, that's what I use here. You can grab either the premade embedded link or just add "i." to the beginning of the normal URL, for example "https://i.imgur.com/_______".

Yes I agree. My main gaming rig up until recently “April 2020” was using a 1gb cyclone. I have 2x 1gb 1x 768mb cyclones and then 1x 1gb twin frozr 460 that suffered a catastrophic fan blade failure while blowing the dust off the card for the HWbot team comp. I ended up super gluing the 5 or so blades back on the gpu lol. Can hardly even tell unless you look really close. It was not quite a major surgery but i spent more time cleaning and prepping than I did performing the super glue surgery lol.
Edit: at one time I had probably about 5 gtx 460 cyclones and about 5 or so ASUS Top CU 460's that were being used for folding at home. Sold all the asus gpu's and a cyclone or two. One of them went to a fellow on OCN up in Canada and I mistakenly sent the wrong card. he bought a 1gb ver and I shipped a 768mb ver and he did not want to deal with it. I offered a partial refund but he would not have it. Still to this day I feel bad about that :/. I mean I made a mistake and wanted to make it right and for some reason “might of been Canadian taxes or something along those lines” he said to just forget about it. Anyway yeah I went nuts buying those Newegg open box deals for a short period of time. Then sold a grip of them shortly after.

UNDER CONSTRUCTION:
figuring out what kind of switches and plugs I'll be using for the power button, reset button, Clear CMOS and other 3 pin mobo header options. The idea for having the 3 way rocker switch for on/off/on is to be able to flip the switch from on while plugged into pins 1 & 2 then rock the switch over to pins 2 & 3 to clear CMOS or other similar 3 pin header options on mobo's.

I didn't know you had a Zalman N2! That test bench thingy looks about exactly as cheap as it looked on the listing page lol. Looking forward to your progress with it! I'd post up some of the cases I modified, but I didn't really "modify" them, I moreso restored them really. Well, except the window I cut in the one.....but I'm sure nobody cares to see that.

I have like 3 or 4 Zalman 9700's one is chrome with the green Nvidia led 4 pin fan
Yes this thing is super flimsy lol but it's better than the Foxconn Destroyer acrylic test station I was using prior to having this. I like the idea of being able to lock the gpu down and stand it up vertically to use a smaller foot print.
Honestly with the price of gas and having a shortage of decent free cases in the area to mod this was not to bad shipped for $25 and it's already painted ftw.

Updated the under construction post a couple of posts ^ up there ^ with images and explanation of the pictures. Here is a momentary switch I'm that I am wondering if I'd be able to use it for the power on & reset switch by using the middle pole as the negative ground lead to both the power on and reset headers. I guess the question is would it harm a board by sharing the ground lead from the power on header and the reset header?
