There are plenty of bios's out there with the 'terrible 10's'. I usually stay away. 11.5x works decent with my BH-5 sets. Keeps me in the 250-260 range. Need to bench over 2800 for me to consider it a decent chip. I'll keep this in mind for sure. I do not have too many chips that will run that high of frequenxy, but I get plenty of enjoyment either way

So following up on this. It seems its just a weird quirk or Bios thing. I need to slowly raise the multipliers on the other chips to get it working. Reason for wanting a high multi is that I'm trying for the % OC record and don't want to run into FSB issues.

I've never had anything like that happen on three different boards. NF7, AN7, and Ultra B were all poke and go. Weird.

Also running Stone Age's Bios on the AN7 I got no boot with BH-5 (Geil One). TCCD works though (Corsair TwinX1024-3200XL (XMS3208v1.2) and OCZ4001024ELDCPER2-K)

Also, use slots 1 and 3 for BH-5. AN7 hated my Geil's. Liked the Kingston's and cheap Corsairs. No idea why. Lemme know how it goes. Some AN7 boards are just bitches. I have 1 good one and 1 that's not even close to working the same. 2800 is tough on air. Water you need a good chip. For XP-M's for benching, I look for nothing but 2800's and 2400's with IQYHA or AQYHA steppings and the newest dates you can find, if that helps you out at all.

I'll give it another try tonight while the AN7 is on the bench. I think my best K7 is a Barton XP-M 2500+ AQZFA 0345RPMW and my most recent is a Geode NX 1500 BJJF 0645XPFW.

CPU Interface Disabled is a diasaster. I moved onto OCZ Gold EL set (OCZ4331024ELDCGEGX-K) and 205MHz would not boot windows!

XP-M 2500's aren't bad either with the same steppings and dates. I've got one that's hit 2900 on chilled before.

This is incorrect. Those are XP-M specs. I notified CPU World of the error. I'm a long time member there too. Sorry for necropost. This isn't correct. Those Athlon SFF parts are interesting - mine has a locked multiplier but it has mobile features enabled by default - softFID and softVID. And it has a lower voltage. True mobile parts have a free multi IIRC.
