I mentioned this sometime ago and you said you'd be interested in how it goes.
Since I didn't have enough Ln2 for any runs as of yesterday, relative to this post I decided to use what I had left of it instead to try this and see how it would work.... Or if it woudn't.
So here ya go - Food for thought? Maybe.

Interesting to say the least yes you would need a deeper container. As for the full pot idea I dont think any ram will run at -190 but looking at the heat spreaders it definitely got cold enough. What chips are on those flex ram? PSC definitely likes cold I have seen them running 6-10-6-24 @ 2600 cold before.

What chips are on those flex ram? PSC definitely likes cold I have seen them running 6-10-6-24 @ 2600 cold before. The chips are D9JNM rated for 7-7-7-21 but these can run 6-6-6 all day long. One thing about these is the heatspreaders can be removed and then used on other sticks - In the case of these as long as they are double sided sticks they'll work just fine. I've done it before and had no problems doing it. These heatspreaders can be used with any set of double sided RAM, from DDR to DDR4 if you want because the physical dimensions of sticks between RAM sticks types are all the same. Related to sticks being double sided, it's because these heatspreaders were spec'ed for that kind of stick and single sided sticks are "Loose" when fitted. With that, a strip of some thick thermal padding can take care of it and make them fit properly. I do plan one day on trying it to see what happens but need to make some changes to the pot's design (Taller sides/extension) and exactly how it goes onto the system so it's not "Right there" at the pot's top, plus to do some insulating of the pot and tubing too.

It may be awhile before I can go further with it but I will get around to it one day.
