At work I get a lot a newish systems with OE only hardware. I don't have the time to run most benches and I still need to test the systems for functionality. Would it be worth the time to run a CPUz validation or wPrime. looking at the HWbot data base most of the hardware I would have my hands on has little to no subs. I even have some ARM hardware running windows 10.

Example you would get 2 for 1 if you run a cpuz validation: 1 for the CPU feq and 1 for the motherboard ref . The only thing is you more then likly will have to ask them to add the motherboard to the data base. but that no biggie. Plus some manufacturers tend to put special or specific hardware (CPUs) only in OEM rigs. Such as the Sempron 150 it was originaly only legaly available in OEM systems then some one discovered it was an unlockable CPU and they off to the races. thats just one of many others that were discovered only in OEM rigs. Heck just today I requested they add a Lenovo OEM board to the data base

Invitation still stands good sir. Hey, you might as well. There's more to gain then to loose by joining the team.

Hay that's a good idea, I get a lot of odd OE systems with one of boards, heck I have a stack of odd ball AIO PCs and laptops and some are both old and odd. What does it take to get the board added ?
I"ll have to make a new HWbot account, I think I lost mine around the time they had the server crash years ago and never bother to get it back. I don't never know the email it would have been under.

The easiest way to get a board added is to post the model # and a CPU-Z validation in this here thread: community.hwbot.org/topic/49903-please-add-motherboard-thread/page/53/For other HW: community.hwbot.org/topic/40155-please-add-other-hardware-thread/page/30/If you remember the username, you should be able to recover the PW for HWBot I think you'll need access to your email to recover, but won't have to provide the address upfront.

Thanks, TBH I don't even recall the user name. I used to keep different user names and emails for a lot of things

OMG... My kinda guy . You should peek at my motherboard hardware list at HWbot when you can After you get your login and stuff squared away next would be to obtain the password to join the team

Wait until I start benching the arm hardware 😁
EDIT: looks like CPUz does not work right on ARM systems and most benches are stuck in single core mode. 🤔

That should be fun Yeah ran wprim 1024 on a 8 core ARM system, I look over and its on like 20% 10 minutes later. I'll have to find a fix for them. Maybe there is a better x86 emulator them the one built into windows.

I found the problem, I had to change the compatibly settings to force multi core mode. It seems that X86_64bit apps do not work on ARM systems ether.
Here's hoping I do not get docked for all the blank spaces in cpuz

Nice run. They won't nit pick your submissions. You are following the requested format and it looks good to me.

Wish I could run a validation but CPU-z will not allow it on ARM CPU's. Anyone know a fix for that?

IDK its a laptop running 10 I would think the regular version would work? I would think so, yes. Are you saving the file and trying to upload manually? Or through the submit button? (I don't know if this makes a difference or not)

Is there a probable version? I rather not go instilling that on company owned systems.

Is there a probable version? I rather not go instilling that on company owned systems. Yes there is, but I am not too sure how truly portable it really is since I never ran that version only the full installs. I can test it and let you know. EDIT:
Checking it out it dosnt really fit your situation. Sorry However there is a much better way for your given situation of testing (cough, cough... playing with) different rigs... If you create a LIVE USB. Install Windows-10 portable on that as well as blue stacks and anything else you need like cpuz & Gpuz and what ever benchmarks you want. just be aware, you wont be breaking any world records but you will get what you need done. Now all you need to do is plug the usb into any PC or laptop and boot to it, after it automatic up dates itself with the needed drivers your good to go. You wont even have to touch the original OS since you'll be running off the usb as long as the pc/laptop has the boot select option Make sense?
