I have a 1080ti that I got for $100 a few months ago. The seller said their friend tried to mine on it but never could get it working. Neither bios worked so I figured I'd do my best to fix it.
I have a cheap bios flashing clip like this (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07R5LPTYM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) , which clips onto the bios chip. Problem is I don't know which chip is the correct one to flash.
The card is an EVGA 1080ti FTW3 silver,
Any help fixing this card would be a ton of help. Any questions are welcome

Stick it in the second slot and some other card preferably a small radeon in the first slot and use 1 in the flash command. First GPU is 0 second is 1 third is 2 is how it goes the flash command will have a 0 in it just change it to a one and flash it that way.

Unfortunately I tried that and whenever I tried with nvflash it said "the pci bar assignment for the processed device is invalid". It is detected by device manager but windows says it had "problems".

Try with it in the first slot and the second card in the second slot that might work.

Try with it in the first slot and the second card in the second slot that might work. I was just about to try this after reading this, but then did a quick test and found that nvflash is showing the same error for just the 650ti on its own that I used as the display out, a known perfectly working card. Unfortunately I don't have an AMD card to use at the moment. Any idea what I should try next? The motherboard I'm testing on is a dual socket EVGA SR-2 from 2010 so I may want to try and work out a new test bench for this.

Yep I would try in another system Just did on my main PC, everything seemingly went well, but when I tested it not much happened. I'll troubleshoot tomorrow, but I'm way closer

Yep I would try in another system Everything seems to work fine and it prompts a reboot, but then the card still has "problems" in windows task manager. No clue where to go from here

Sounds like the card has other problems then if the flash goes Ok. Its definitely the right bios you are trying to flash to it.

Sorry re-reading what I said before I wasn't very clear, it's acting the same as before, and it isn't working properly on device manager, not task manager. It doesn't boot into windows currently I may just cut my losses and sell it for parts to someone more experienced than me, but it would be pretty cool to get working if I can.

Can't blame you if you do sell, it's of no use as is.
