I recently decided to finally replace the radio in the 02' Jetta Mk4. Had a stock monsoon (w/e that is) which didn't tune in radio, had a tape deck built in and sounded like garbage running music from a tape player head phone jack adapter. There's a lot of radios on the market. KenWood, Pioneer, Sony, just to name a few brands, you all know the long list. Most of what I was looking at 300 minimum price tag. Uhg, not for a 20 year old car...... So went to Ebay and went for Double Din Android. The one purchased in the link below is an off brand. Part # HD7088. Well I did the wiring with a correct adapter plug and soldered it all in. Works like a charm! Nice crisp sounds, very satisfied. Since it's just installed, I'll update my experience later. Here's where I purchased it. www.ebay.com/itm/353964452707?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649And here's a picture from the add. - So far this is the best 100 bucks I've EVER spent on a car stereo. And I should say the least that I've spent on a car stereo. Everything is built in. YouTube, Google Maps, mirror link your phone (can use for gaming) standard radio seems to work really good too. When I'm done doing some mods to the car, I'll get some pictures of it installed as well.

We can't seem to catch radio signals in our town Jon. Is this why you got this? I've been trying to figure out something for my cars. I have standard radios in mine and they barely catch anything. Around here seems like AM radio picks up the most signals when it can. I want free radio in my cars. I don't want to pay for any satellite services or internet services.

Well I needed a radio either way. But B-96 actually tunes in, so it seems to work OK. But out by us, we are pretty far from Chicago. I listen to 97.1 most of the time which is a little more local rock station to us.
