So cooler master has a off the shelf AIO tec cooler. Kinda of a odd kit in that it needs a 10th gen chip and software to use the cooler. I'm sure it would not be hard to mod into a stand alone unit.
Your thoughts?

Yeah its software and hardware requirements make it rather unpractical. But I can see others modding the kit to make it more usable, but then your just better off buying a proper tec cooler setup.

TEC cooling was good for socket 7 where the CPUs had really low wattage they cant keep a modern CPU below zero. They are a waste of time full stop.

Roman also did a something with the Intel version of the same thing where he used an intel system to run the TEC cooler on an AM4 system:

TEC cooling was good for socket 7 where the CPUs had really low wattage they cant keep a modern CPU below zero. They are a waste of time full stop. Very true tech tends to max out around 25w when it comes to benching. Chilled water would be just as good on most hotter chips.
I still think tec has its uses regular PC use if it could be made more reliable/efficient, I'd love to see more of a push for tec coolers to be developed.
