The big one that can move the most BTU per hour.... That's 4.15 billion transistors on a single core complex.

So youre saying 1 on the list I posted would be Golden? The big one that can move the most BTU per hour.... That's 4.15 billion transistors on a single core complex.

In my opinion, for my builds I prefer to stay away from CPU coolers that require fastening with its own template through the motherboard. Too cumbersome if anything is f'd up with the fan or CPU cooling or eg. CPU swap.
There are perfectly good CPU air coolers than can just clip on default AM4 bracket. For he size I cannot say, depends on case&space and designed air flow. I have not been too disappointed with Arctic Cooling CPU coolers.

I think the Scythe or the Le Grand Macho would be of the 2 I'd pick from your list. However I'm not a big fan of tower coolers. Also, forgive me, I forgot that you are getting the OEM non X version. It's only about 140-150w at load with an average boost frequency of about 4ghz at defaults. That means you could get away with cooling this chip with a stock Wraith Prism.

the one with the most heat pipes... the ARO-M14O or G or the HR-02 would be my vote.
as for removing the cooler, I've always modded my cases/MB tray to be able to remove the cooler if need be. but as of late I've been replacing older cases because of case evolution and all the new cases have a decent cutout behind the socket.

Im treating the 5800 as an X model so the Wraith Prism is not on my list, if the cpu had the prism already I would of used it. I will say for its size the Scythe Ashura kept this hot cpu at 55°C under gaming and never locked up at 75°C under Ryzen Blender.I realized I actually don't need a second fan on it either... the one with the most heat pipes... the ARO-M14O or G or the HR-02 would be my vote. as for removing the cooler, I've always modded my cases/MB tray to be able to remove the cooler if need be. but as of late I've been replacing older cases because of case evolution and all the new cases have a decent cutout behind the socket. Vin Any idea what the difference Is between the ARO-M14O and ARO-M14G?

Your money, your decision. Low temps guarrantee the long life span of any cpu. Spending hundreds of $$$ on good HW and trying to save 20 or 30 bucks is something I cant understand Used to have a 5800X. At 4.5ghz this cpu put out over 150 watts. Just saying

The board is RGB, ram i dont think it is, might as well make the heatsink either non rgb or rgb. Got the ARO-M14 Gray, got one of their CPU RGB fans for it too. I may grab a Mugen Max for SnGs on another rig

I have Le Grand Macho RT, True Spirit 140 Power, Ultra 120 Extreme.. They are all awesome coolers, really good imo. I will talk shit about other coolers when compared to the ones I own lol.. mostly Noctuas lol..
But.. I also own Frost Commander 140.. from their new line of coolers..
That cooler performs better with my 5600X, and 5900X than my other Thermalright coolers do.. by at least 5-8c with LGMRT, previously my fave cooler.. crazy numbers! Hopefully the ARO works out for you.. but even my 5600X can hit 144w PPT with a static clock.. fingers crossed!

It is pretty light and looks like the fin stack is unrestricted. a Trust me I Love the Scythe Ashura due to its depth when looking at it from the fan side. I suspect the Mugen Max is a deeper Ashura lol. My favorite cooler Brands back then were Thermal Right, ThermalTake, Scythe, Cooler Master. Idk the newer ones, always prefered a heat block vs direct touch pipes.

you have better hope because it has a PS2 port. you'll be able to get a KB to work easily enough to do the install...
