This new world on Ebay is flat out whacked!!!!!!!
Got all my E3 12XX V2 last year but didn't pick up a E3 1290 V2 (multi lock) as the price was a little high being as its the highest clocked S1155 as I remember. Looked this year cheapest in the US was $225 buy now, about $50 more than last year. K version CPUs for this socket are selling cheaper and in reality Xeons aren't any better than desk top CPUs, (there's good and bad)
Been playing with Skylakes so to find something cheap looked into the Celerons and went on Ebay for a Celeron G3900 cheapest was $68 buy now, one action was up to $41, release price in 2015 was $42. Only thing slower are the T & TE versions. In reality this is a 5-10 dollar CPU shipped in my opinion and maybe might get two for that price.
Thinking, is the Chinese market setting the price or is it plain old fashion American greed?
I'm a MORON for buying anything this year. Did start wondering about the above as I noticed lessor binned CPUs were selling for more than higher on occasion and I really hadn't noticed that much until this year.
I'm done with Ebay, seller flat out greed combined with a company that would allow JPGs of 3XXX series VGAs to be sold for up to twice list to possible increase profits ain't got no ethics.

I guess it depends on what you're getting. The 4150 I got a few days ago only cost me about $20 plus shipping. It did have a few bent pins but that wasn't a big deal to fix and the chip runs fine.
I check to see if it's a chinese seller and I don't mess with those guys if at all possible for anything.

Apparently a truck load of EVGA GPU's were stolen (from 1650's to 3090's) in California "I think" they are expected to end up on ebay. EVGA put out a release that none of these GPU will have a warranty and will not be able to be registered..
it's going to suck on used sales for a while....

20 bucks!!! Cause it's slower than a core 2 quad lol..... Hey, cheap is cheap and I'll take it. That's why I benched that platform when it was new. The biggest chip FX-9590. Man. 200 bucks. First released 5Ghz chip on the market. Had a few FX chips. It certainly is one of the best platforms just for sheer clock speeds. 7685mhz FX-8300. I'd never hit this frequency without the cheap hardware. Asus M5A78L-M plus www.asus.com/us/Motherboards-Components/Motherboards/Business/M5A78L-M-PLUS-USB3/Talking 50 dollars ONLY. Had 2 of them. They banged out such fun, I didn't need to use the Crosshair Z. I sold that to help carry into Ryzen. Had little choice, didn't want to be left behind man. Still behind. But at least not too far haha. First Ryzen chip, R5 1400. 8 threads. Cheap. Gonna give that to Ella. She's done a fantastic job in school. PC for Xmas. Not sure on VGA though. Best I could get maybe a 1050 if Best buy has any locally. Last time I was there, it was pretty empty shelves....

Maybe that's why I'm glad I made a move to get the board I bought the other day.
Pickings WILL be getting slim after next week if it takes that long, noted alot of "Out of stock" items and those are the usual things you'd want with the cheaper stuff left over. Luckily I wasn't going for anything highend or expensive this time so I had no problems getting the board I wanted.
I've got enough Ryzen stuff to hold me until Ryzen is no longer relevant or all this stuff dies; And I'll probrably be gone before that happens myself.

You never know. M$ pushing hardware regulation on their operating system could make it useless in less than 5 years from now.
FTPM. Everything you have that isn't Ryzen, is useless. You are no longer up to date with your operating system. Please purchase the newest hardware in order to "experience" windows 11.
what a sham.
The Gpu market is a sham. My Ella may be stuck with a GTX 580 that is going to tear up this EVGA 500w PSU. It's gonna be epic. I'll be sure there's a fire extinguisher in her room also... haha.

The used market is grand if you're a seller. I've been cleaning house a little on my little used hardware. Market value is roughly 5+ times what I bought the stuff for.

Got any decent VGA cards more power efficient (not necessarily faster) than a GTX 580 for sale, hit me up. Got things maybe trades if you want. LMK.
